I thought this would be a good technique for those who are new to use during a time they feel that they are in danger from another caster. Please keep in mind that this is just how I use the technique and certainly is not the only way of protecting yourself. It does require meditation and visualization skill, the stronger the better. No other tools are required unless you feel it necessary to serve as a tool to help your focus.
1.) Find a quiet place and sit comfortably. Take a few deep breaths to calm yourself, breathing from your diaphragm. Relax and take some time to reflect on being the one still point of a world constantly moving. You are in control of your reality, everything else are just pieces that you can move at you will. Hold this belief deep in your heart and know what you are.
2.) Visualize a square outlined around you. Squares are stable shapes and have proven effective for protection in my experience. The outlines could be made of light, metal, or whatever feels solid for you to image.
3.) Visualize a large standing mirror emerge from the ground from each side of the square one at the time. Visualize the mirror as solid as you can with the intention “Whereever I go, may any malice from the (said the direction it is faced such as north, east, west or south) directed to me be reflected back.” Do this for each mirror, seeing them fuse together into a box with no cracks. You can also put a mirror above and below yourself to create a cube.

A Guide on How Not to Waste Your Time
There seems to be a lot of confusion on the subject of discerning spirits from thoughtforms and imposters. So I hope to shed some light on how this can be done. Unfortunately I had to learn this the hard way as I have had my time wasted with entities who knew nothing and could do nothing. This does not address thoughtforms that have been intentionally created for a purpose, but rather those things which either arise spontaneously through our own fantasies or dodgy egregoric spirits unintentionally created by some occult collectives.
One of the first characteristics of a real spirit is that they will often defy your expectations of them. I realize that some will say that spirits appear and behave in the manner expected of them. I thought this too at one time. Upon reflection, I say this is wrong and is actually one of the characteristics of a thoughtform or unconscious projection. Real spirits will take forms largely in harmony with their natures, but it may not be something that you expect. Their speech patterns and choice of words will likely differ markedly from anything you yourself might say.
In the instances where you can see a spirit, it will often be with a level of detail that you didn’t imagine. Thoughtforms and projections are usually somewhat hazy in appearance, having only as much detail as you are able to put into them.

This is for those individuals that have a low supply of personal energy. This is also for people who are subconsciously vampirising people and begin taking on their gunk and are in a bad energtic and physical state. Some of you may even just may need a “fix up” of your energy and supply of power.
What are symptoms of these energetic problems.
Mental Health - Many of us who may be feeding of other without knowing can sometimes take on people’s depression, stress, anxiety etc which in turn can be poisonous for your own psyche.
Physically Drained - You might have aches and pains in your muscles, bones, joints etc.

Instructions for a basic and easy “smudging” to clear unwanted energy from your room or house.
Use wormwood if in the UK or most parts of Europe as it’s native there, Or white sage if you’re in North America as that’s what’s native there. You can also use Mugwort, sandalwood or patchouli… or something similar that repels negativity, there are options.
What you do, is:
carry the burning incense around the house.
Open your heart and feel love, then from your heart, send out that love as white light with the incense smoke as you waft it into every corner of the house.
With each wave of your hand you see all unwanted energy from every nook and cranny leaving your house, including this entity.
Do this over your entire house for each corner of each room, in cupboards and under the stairs.
When finished, love your house and how clean it is, thank it for it’s service protecting you and tell it you are taking care of it. Ask the house itself to get and keep unhealthy entities out.

I updated the title from “Unofficial Tutorials: Spiritual Hygiene & Defense Collection” to add “Defense” as they go hand in hand and we don’t have a collection just for general psychic defense. Setting up preventative defenses like wards are in here already so I think that fits

Stumbled on a description for creating protective Witch Bottles today
I decided to make this because they’ve been mentioned several times recently, particularly by @Lotuslouvena . I didn’t see any instructions on how to make one so I decided to go ahead and add some for the new people on here to add to the practical information on the forum.
Little History:
Basic recipe:
A water tight jar
Broken glass/ mirror shards
Anything pointy and bent like an undone diaper pin, bent nails
Vinegar
Your urine- this acts like a decoy for energy sent to you.
Put the objects in the jar, fill it up halfway with your urine and vinegar ( vinegar dissolves the negative energies sent to you ). Cap it. Burry I outside your house. Prance around feeling protected.

It’s a tad embarrassing, to know that you should know that these routines, yet you do not. Or, your methods are so weak, that a fruit fly can cross your circle.
Fruit flies are physical, and the physical trumps the energetic, but they are harmless. Maybe start with things that matter. Can a parasite cross your circle and would you notice if it did?

I wouldn’t know what parasites look like, but my peripheral sight has occasionally seen black things that crawl or slither vertically and horizontally.
It would be easy for them since my visualization and will need serious training.
