Welcome to the forum!
We will treat this thread as your Intro, which we also need per the rules. Couple more questions:
For the rest you just did your first ever ritual last night and it was a ;letter of Intent to Lilith to ask for a succubus, if I read that right.
But it’s only been a day so try not to doubt and assume it worked - this is called applying the “Law of Assumption” and it’s part of the magick.
No, this is not a thing. But feel free to search the forum for every tome people asked this question (people do, they project human emotions on nonhuman entities as humans are wont to do) to get other responses.
Yes, the candle is to burn the letter with so it’s not critical. The content of the letter is the intention part, and your reading of it with clear intention -
A petition or letter of intent isn’t an evocation, and usually you don’t get sensory impressions the same way, but you can get a succubus that shows up and touches you.
That is energy moving - your qi or prana. It often happens during magickal workings. The more you learn about energy working the better as it’s basically the underlying mechanism for why magick works.
Sounds good! From here talk to your succubus - it sounds like one showed up - as if she’s there with you. That will strengthen the connection and feed her. Ask her to help you improve your astral senses to sense her better. Whatever pops into your mind unbidden - write that down to honor it, and it will slowly train your subconscious to give you that info more and more.
We have tons of advice and tutorials from 14 years of discussions here - we collected the good stuff in megathreads but also search the forum, especially member @succupedia’s posts for more on succubi. You can see all posts for any member from thier profile page.

The links in that megathread are forum-made tutorials, and we suggest the following progression: hygiene](Unofficial Tutorials: Spiritual Hygiene & Defense Basics Collection), developing your astral senses and avoiding impostors and parasites… When you can be sure you’ll not get attacked by parasites, then try Unofficial Tutorials: First Contact from Sigils to Evocation Collection.
