As this qualifies as Dream work, I’ll pop it over into the Dreamwork category. It’s fine in the general category too, but it’s helpful for searching for dreamwork examples to have them all collected together. 
What have you been doing in daily life so that you know Papa Legba’s name? What context did you find him in? That will give insight into the dreamscape, as it will mix up everything from problem solving, to wishful thinking to actual visits. 99% of the time sprits in dreams re not the spirits themselves but your subconscious thinking about them, or using them to represent parts of yourself.
Only you can say for sure what this means to you because the whole thing is massively depending on your life and background, but it sounds pretty positive, you’re feeling good about yourself and confident to maybe start a working with Papa Legba.
