Thoughts on Lamashtu

Welcome to the forum! For goddesses (and gods) you can use the name.

They’ve been around a long time, and are well know, they are easy to reach using the same calls people always used to reach them for millennia. (Which is not enns.)

Enns are from the fairly new religion of “demonolatry”, and focuses on the Christian/Jewish idea of “demons” so many gods and other kinds of entities, and non-western entities, don’t have enns invented by modern demonolatrists yet. I’m sure someone will get around to worshiping Lamashtu demonolatry-style sooner or later, but in the meantime you can make a chant of your own, or just call the name three times.

If you want, there’s a universally adaptable chant here that you can insert the name of any entity into: try #4 “To Summon Forth”.

After that…

Please do make your next post your Introduction HERE, which we need per the forum rules and see our posting guidelines in the FAQ.

Points to cover:

  • Do you have any practical experience in magick?

  • If so, what exactly do you practice and how long have you practiced?

  • Do you follow any specific system or tradition?

  • What are your areas of interest?

Here is a getting started with magick guide. You’ll want to get your spiritual hygiene sorted out, and start work on developing your astral senses, then when you can know you have a decent chance at avoiding impostors and parasites then try the first contact guides we have on here.
