In Persian myth it’s personified as Ahriman. It is also a manifestation and exists only because reality exists, so it also seeks to end itself.
I see it as the yin and yang concept put a different way. As such, it does not “seek” - it has no mind and no will, it is neutral, because it is simply dissolution back to the tao. “Nothing lasts forever” sort of thing.
This is the opposite of anti-cosmicism - you are looking to act to manifest your will and create, are you not? Not dissolve into nihilism.
This is not my worldview, but its it very human. But I don’t think we are only human, and that being human is something we do, not what we are - and we do it thousands of times, out of billions of experiences over the universe. Being human is not the end it’s not the middle. It’s significant experience but we were here before the planet existed and we’ll be busy doing other things when it’s gone.
As a human, yes - this planet is based on a predator-prey, survival of the fittest system. I’m not much of a fan either. I believe there is not invalid experience, and that is what we are doing here - getting experience of why this system sucks, among other things. And we can use that to design better systems.
I don’t think you’re wrong, I think you’re looking at it from inside the box of being a human in your given environment. To an extent that’s what you’re supposed to do, imo, per your own higher self’s intention in incarnating as you in this time.
