Suggestions for troubleshooting difficulties with evocation.
If you have done the basics aka
Preparatory Immersion
Use or Development of a Working System
Attainment of Omnipotence
Substantial Contact
Incantation
Communication with the Spirit
Issuing a Task
Dismissal
Psychological Retraction,
and still are having problems then here are my suggestions:
You are probably over thinking it all thus making the evocation harder then it needs to be. Stop thinking over every detail and just relax. Clear your mind. Put it this way, if you call on a spirit alone, it will come. You may not see it,hear it, etc but it will be there. So just know that regardless of what happens as long as you are able to speak then a evocation is possible. Granted it will be a one sided conversation and be a bit awkward.
It is easier to do evocation when you lose touch with reality and enter a state of psychosis. That is why so many suggest you do it in the dark or outdoors. You can even use certain music to enter psychosis if you want to practice “losing yourself”. I will not list a type of music because I have found it to be more on personal preference.
That is why drumming,chanting,dancing, reading scriptures/grimoires for hours on end=good brain wave states for evocation. Azazel once told me “Lose yourself in psychosis and darkness and you shall experience the entirety of evocation”.He meant darkness literally because when you are in the dark your mind will start to drift onto unsettling thought. How to do Preparatory Immersion to facilitate entity contact
I know there is a long Prelude to the actual post but I suggest you read it because it helps put the entire process into perspective. It may sound like I’m rambling in the beginning, but I’ve done it for a purpose.
I see a lot of posts asking “I evoked XYZ, I couldn’t see or hear anything, did the Demon accept my request?” or “I asked XYZ to bring me money/love/sex (replace with whatever we personally desire) but nothing happened”. Now I performed my first Evocation back in 2004, I Evoked Duke Bathin ONCE, I asked what I needed and then that was it. I couldn’t hear or see anything; I only felt a strong and heavy presence. I was also scared shitless, evoking a big bad demon and all that. Subconsciously I did not want to see or hear anything. I only wanted to ask for what I wanted and end it sooner than later.
Soon after, things started falling in place, but things also started falling out of place. Several events occurred which would lead up to my desire and some that were against what I asked for (or so I thought at the time). @Twilight_Dragon put it best in one of their posts “In Chaos Theory, every outcome is leading to your desire”
What I asked for from Duke Bathin was what almost every person would consider Impossible. About 30-45 days from the day of stating my request in a formal evocation I had what I wanted, exactly what I wanted, down to the T. I was short of passing out from the disbelief.
