This is extremely intriguing! Do you mind sharing who are the entities you asked that have no knowledge of the Greek gods? Which pantheons/gods are actually real & not human egregores & how do I differentiate between egregore & genuine gods/primordial powers & entities?

In my opinion - and this is me and my worldview, so your mileage may vary - thereās just no such thing as āgodsā. At all. Not with our human definition, which evolved out of fear and ignorance of the cosmos.
This is not just my UPG - if you go traveling yourself at all, or read the works of say, Robert Munroe, or any astral traveler or Shamanic Journeyer, as humans we barely have a grip on who we are talking to, but we ask if they know others and they USUALLY donāt. Or they;re aware of them, but donāt know them in person.
I think itās reasonable to not expect all these beings to know the trillions on trillions of entities that exist in the cosmos, including the billions humans have created.
For myself, thereās an obvious correlation between levels of knowledge, access to clalirsentient knowledge and the type of entity. Most are telepathic and can read info from your mind, and will only know it if you know it.
In my experience thereās:
- Earth bound entities (Fae, Djinn, Ghosts, Human-astral lesser entities, Nature Intelligences) are aware of what you know and thire local environment and history. They live long lives and may have seen multiple human generations though, even multiple generations of the trees - they donāt know anything much beyond their area. This can include those āgodsā that are spirits of place, often healers. Egregores and thoughtforms start here.
- Humans that are not ghosts but still inside the sphere of influence the Earth - not so great at telepathy but they know what humans usually know nothing much. Ancestors can be in here.
- Physically incarnate ETs - they know about their species and itās trade with others. They may remember previous incarnations. Some ādemonsā are these, and they know about this. Arcturans especially, IME, bit also some tall greys, Sirians, Ebens - see Stargate SG1 the TV series for a lot of disclosure mixed with fantasy for this.
- Ascended humans and spirits that may or may not have been human at some point - telepathic, can be galactic but usually stay close by. They have clairsentience. They may know ascended from other planets in the galaxy, which includes āgodsā that are ETs. Some of these are also Humanās Ancestors.
- Higher selves that are the beings that exist outside of time and space, and split themselves to incarnate physically, having a collective of incarnations making the whole - these are closer to godlike ime. They have a whole other perspective. Some of their incarnations do not incarnate and only watch the incarnations - these are also where some of the ādemonsā, āAngelsā, āgodselvesā, āguidesā, āHGAsā and all that fun stuff comes in. These know what the collective know.
The only really clairsentient beings that can ask any question and find the answer within our reach is incarnate humans. We often use images of other beings but itās just us using an image as a tool, because we put ourselves down and have to play mind tricks to give ourselves the permission to do this work. Itās a skill thatās hard to learn. Egregores and thoughtforms can do this as they are extensions of us.
So yeah, I donāt think thereās anybody external to a human that can really know all the human philosophies, pantheons and religions.
You have to use your intuition and learn not to lie to yourself. This is often called āhaving discernmentā.
Know yourself is the most important tennet of hermetics for this reason, because if you donāt know why you feel you want to talk to x god, or why you think itās a god, or what your worldview really is and why, then you are starting without all the information you need to get a complete picture - instead you are starting from assumptions, and these may be wrong, and that causes you to miss valid information.

Holy shit, this is extremely detailed & high effort, thank you very much, as a Black South African with a culture heavy on ancestral veneration & contact, the part high-level but still Earth bound human spirts is extremely interesting, its 23:30 over here & Iām way too sleepy to appreciate this, Iāll re-analyze it again all over tomorrow
