Noob here, how would i start to get in contact with a being? Am i correct in thinking an “invocation” of a being is where you summon them subtly in your inner dimension, talking to them “in your own head” , but its still a real conversation and they can do things for you, bit an “evocation” is where you make them appear in the “outside world”?
If i am correct in this, an invocation would be sufficient right?

You’ll want to get your spiritual hygiene sorted out, and start work on developing your astral senses, then when you can know you have a decent chance at avoiding impostors and parasites then try the first contact guides we have on here.
Yes, but it’ can be dangerous without first laying down protection against unwanted entities who WILL be attracted to your activities. And know who to recognise and banish the timewasters if they show up.
You will likely not be able to sense entities right away, but this is not needed to use sigils and get what you want.
