The Getting started Guide is pinned at the top o this forum. Bookmar that as it’s your refernce to how the forum works as well as how to get started in magick.
Welcome to the forum!
Tell us about you as a mage -
- Do you have any practical experience in magick?
- If so, what exactly do you practice and
- How long have you practiced?
- What are your areas of interest?
The getting started guide with all forum orientation stuff, links to tutorials and popular megathreads are here: GETTING STARTED GUIDE, Rules, Notables, Tutorials and References. The links in that megathread are forum-made tutorials for things like spiritual hygiene, developing your astral senses and avoiding impostors and parasites… When you can be sure you’ll not get attacked by parasites, then try Unofficial Tutorials: First Contact from Sigils to Evocation Collection.
For reference:
The rules are here - please read them.
The posting guidelines are here in the FAQ

Ive been thinking of writing a letter of intent related to sports betting, though i dont know if its possible or which demon to try and contact. Any ideas on what/how to write it? Which demon should i choose? Are there any limits to their powers? Should i take any precautions? How do i do it? Any basic info at all i should know?
I have merged this post into your intro as it seems to be an extension of it and why you are here, and you are asking for newbie info I already linked you above.
Please respond to the intro questions - further posts may be removed until the rule is respected.
So, as I gave you above - YES: click this and get the book in the first post, if you do nothing else to avoid parasites that will help and set you up with the basic understanding you need for life.
Gambling is especially prone to parasite infestation, because of the volatile emotions involved that are a parasites favorite food.
Did you try the search? Members have other discussions about gambling here that you could benefit from. They are not here now though and usually never posted on thier success or not - people joining the forum for quick fixes usually don’t stay in magick, as they find it takes more work to learn than they are willing to put in.
Use the search for “tutorial petition”.
Thank you!
Sorry if im horrible at replying and posting properly im trying to learn how to use this site lol. But to answer your questions:
No i do not, ive been trying to read up on it recently but find it hard on where to find solid info and start, so far here has been the best.
Im mainly interested in demonology and working with demons while building connections with them, and also exploring how people practice contacting and communicating with them in a respectful way.
