Hello! I’m R, I’m a 26 year old from England. I have been reading this forum for years intermittently, but only recently felt the urge to practice magick myself. Growing up surrounded by religion, but never really resonating with it, I used to have a very “scientific” approach to spirituality. I recently had a shift in my beliefs where I realised the world is not so black and white, and not everything can be comprehended by the human consciousness, so who am I to say whether the “supernatural” definitely does not exist … this opened my mind to magick (as well as other forms of spirituality), and after a few weeks of reading this forum for research with my new mindset, I decided I would step into this world myself. I am a complete beginner so please bear with me!
Today I attempted to evoke King Paimon and would like to share my experience. Bear in mind this is my first time actually trying anything of this nature, and it was quite basic, but I am excited by what happened. I also was a little unprepared - I did not have any supplies to help me with this rite, however I felt intuitively that with the intention to only make contact for the first time, this would be okay. I don’t expect to wake up a millionaire tomorrow, but just felt the urge to try and speak to King Paimon, and for today that is enough for me.
I started by creating a ward to protect myself from any negative entities/effects of trying to evoke a demon. I put on an eye mask as it helps me to visualise - it is the kind where I can keep my eyes open and it be completely black, making me feel as if I’m in some kind of 3rd space, detached from the world. I also played some 528hz music as it helps me meditate. I very thoroughly and in depth envisioned 4 knights to serve, protect, defend myself and my family, and to do as my will (as per a very helpful tutorial I saw on here). While I was doing this I felt an intense sensation between my eyebrows, so I am satisfied that it worked. A bit of backstory - I come from a religious family who are opposed to magick. I grew up believing any kind of magick was wrong and would cause negative effects. While I no longer believe that and haven’t since I was a child, it’s hard to shake the 1% of fear that has been hardwired into myself. I found these 4 knights to be really helpful whenever I felt any kind of fear during the evocation, they really helped to calm my nerves when I thought I could be attracting any kind of negativity during the process.
After id set up these wards, I laid in bed with my eye mask back on and the 528hz music playing. I chanted King Paimon’s enn while visualising his sigil, and told him I would like to speak to him. I alternated talking to him with the chanting. I introduced myself, apologised for not having an offering and asked him to let me know what he would like as an offering for the next time I spoke with him. I told him I was new to this and would like to begin my journey with him, that I would like him to work with me and I will work with him. I told him I respected him and asked he do the same to me. I told him I was learning, and that I promised to be considerate. I explained to him some of the things I am hoping he will be willing to help me with (I said them as a way to introduce myself, not necessarily expecting him to help me with any of these things just yet, as I am conscious of the fact that I haven’t given him any incentive to do so). Because I didn’t give any offerings, I was not expecting to feel his presence, but still had faith he was listening to me.
During this time, I was feeling shivers/goosebumps over my body, and I thought it to be him. I wrapped my duvet around me more to see if I would still feel that sensation, or whether I was just cold. What’s really interesting, is towards the end when I told him I was going to end the rite. I felt a really intense, cold, pins and needles kind of sensation over my whole body in a wave. I told him he is welcome to stay, or he can go if he so wishes. And then I told him, I can feel you, that’s you isn’t it? And I felt the intense rush of pins and needles again. Then I said goodbye and that I would speak to him soon.
I know this might not sound like a big deal to many of you, but for my first experience with anything magick, coming from someone who has never experienced anything of the like, it was really exciting.
Any notes, tips, or thoughts on my experience would be really appreciated!
