Yeah, yeah. I’m Sam. I have been told I was an incarnated angel by a wiser-than-me friend. I’ve been sitting on the revelation, trying to see if it feels true. My friend’s actual phrasing was that I’m a “Child of Sophia.”
Oddly, it does. And I hope people here aren’t too judgmental. Back in the 1990’s I worked with a hermetic magical group and ascended to journeyman status in how we measured ourselves. We regularly worked with angels in our magical circles, and I’d had encounters with the archangels before.
So with this news, I also grew to understand that my personal spiritual guardian is Archangel Michael. He’s been around me most of my life, protecting me and trying to urge me to be a better person. My life hasn’t been easy, but like many people on a path of Light, I have been making an effort to do better and be better.
I really want to talk to people about this and see if I can find any other children of Sophia in the world to compare experiences.
Really unsettling vibes from this post. Are you asking if you are Yaldebeoth, claiming to be of no will, or setting a snare? 
I don’t mean any disrespect, but ego inflation is a common side effect of practice. Try veryfying if this is something that feeds your ego, if it is, it’s not at all unlikely that this is of egotic nature.
Could you expand on what you mean by this concept, “Child of Sophia” as you say? How does it feel, what are the associations, elemental, sephiroth, or otherwise?

Aren’t we all? I am of the opinion that all humans are higher beings incarnate into human bodies. If your friend was really wise, I don;t think he’d be trying to tell other people who they are though, just my opinion. If you want to be wise, follow your path to know yourself in your own time and your own way, using your own worldview.
Sophia means wisdom In this paradigm, literally everyone in created by god, part of god, infused with god. So are you saying you are looking to talk about Gnosticism or Hellenistic philosophy?
