Hi everyone, I’m Han and I’m 18 as well, I’m new and yesterday I tried to get in contact with the Morning Star asking Him to come in my dreams but I guess I’ll have to try again…I’ve been feeling an unexplainable need to keep my room clean from since tho, and I’ve heard He deeply dislikes messy environments so maybe this is His will to prepare the room I have my sacred space in before He manifests Himself to me? Also been feeling weirdly energized, maybe it’s because I finally have something to believe in that I can learn about…

Any recommendations to get in contact with him? I’d really like a “mentor” going through this path.

So where are you from?

Is this your first foray into magick or have you been practicing for a while? How long have you been studying magick?

Hi @Mulberry !

I’m from Italy, my grandma raised me to stay in contact with my own energy and I’ve been studying different approaches since I can remember, I started off with her Wiccan and Kabbala books even tho she mainly practiced with me radiesthesia and shaman basics.

I’ve been going through a lot lately and always felt like I had some kind of something to awaken in me and it’s my first time being in a forum and trying to work with a source of power different than Nature itself.

I decided to try and get to the “root” of the power itself to ask for guidance to enhance my personal life and I chose “pop my cherry” in this topic trying to summon Lucifer the Shining since I’ve always been sure He and the evil forces commonly narrated are different things. I see myself in the search for answers, I always felt like having too much of them not to use guidance, also I chose Him because my birth number on documents is 666 funny thing and I’ve always kind of wanted to prove everyone there’s at least a bit of right in the “wrong” and there’s a part of light even in those who to everyone’s eyes have darkness only in them.

I came across some Litanies and Summoning prayers from Conner Kendall’s profile here, but don’t really know where to start from.

I’d suggest the following progression: Start with spiritual hygiene first and foremost. You will be raising energy, and attracting interest, and not all of that is helpful, so know how to

  • ground using the Earth (also called Earthing)
  • clear your space and self of imbalanced energy (a nice salt bath or shower is good), and smudging is easy
  • banish unwanted entities gatecrashing your party

Next look into developing your astral senses and recognizing and getting rid of persistent impostors and parasites.

When you can be sure you’ll not get attacked by parasites, then try Unofficial Tutorials: First Contact from Sigils to Evocation Collection. Evocation using the sigil is the most popular and successful route for most.

Thank you lots! I’m so grateful for this community, everyone says something different and I’m just scared to invite in the wrong energies.

I’ll be patient and study.

K just finished an “exercise” and the candle I lit hours ago on my altar went out as I thanked the energy I was trying to connect with and reopened my eyes.

Also I might need a clarification, someone said to pour blood on the sigil to open it?

Nooo not at all.

Here is how you open a sigil via what is called “sigil gazing”: Think of a sigil like a phone number, and the magickal gaze is how you pick up the phone (get into trance) and dial it (gaze with intention and let it start flashing).

(The formatting went weird a while ago, maybe I’ll clean it up and write it into a forum post that can be a Q&A for sigil opening. )

Blood is not a factor for the sigil work. Blood can be an “offering” if you feel so inclined, but offerings are not necessary at all (unless for religious reasons, but not for practical ones).
If you employ the energy of gratitude, it goes further, I find. Offering’s also need to happen AFTER you make contact not before. Otherwise it’s like leaving a gift for someone on the side table and not actually giving it to them.
