Introducing Myself

Hey everyone, I hope everyone is doing well and is having a lovely day. I’m a newbie who has tried what I call the easy bake version of Magick such as goetic words of power, the magick and angels and demons, but I’m very much a newbie and inexperinced. I’d very much love to learn how to work with Father Lucifer, other Goetia demons, and Angels and any beings willing to help me to better my life. I live with my parents so that puts on me on a limit on privacy.

Welcome!

Look up tool-free magick, astral travel and shamanism. You can use meditative techniques to do magick without physically acting out a ritual.

As one of the many disciplines that you can try, there’s Draconian, my preference. I have been using Asenath Mason’s Draconian Ritual Book. It can easily be done without tools, or with everyday items that would not attract suspicion.

For example, I started by using the sword mudra (index and middle fingers pointing, ring and pinky held down by thumb), instead of a consecrated dagger or sword. I used an ordinary glass drinking cup for the chalice. What matters is not the specifics of the item, but that you are in the right head space. So a cup without writing or symbols is preferred, unless the symbols are relevant, because your mind will translate that into your work.

… I have seen many magicians who do not use any tools or ceremonies in their work at all, and yet are highly successful in their practice. All you need to perform successful Draconian operation is yourself. (p44)

Lucifer and many other entities are called to help you evolve and grow, with the end goal being ascension to godhood. I particularly like this path for the focus on development of one’s own power rather than leaning on favors from others:

Draconian gods were born from the essence of the Void and have the power to open gateways of the mind for the gnosis of the Dragon. They reflect the ferocity of primordial chaos and are by no means benevolent deities that will help you solve your everyday problems. They will, however, ignite the spark of divinity within you, and guide you on the way to self-knowledge and power. … do not try to call them if you find yourself too weak to deal with a situation. Draconian gods do not want you to worship them, depend on them, or pray to them if you find yourself in a tight spot. They will show you the way to power, but they will never grant it to you for free. You can work with them through pacts, works of love and dedication, self-sacrifice, methods and techniques that will allow you to inflame yourself in their divine essence and raise their power within. But their main lesson for you is that you already possess the potential to be divine – there is no other god apart from yourself, and it is your Will that shapes the world and bends reality. … (p73-74)

In order to be free of distractions, however, you might need to do your practice when your parents are at work, or when they’re sleeping. That will be the case with all of the disciplines, though.
