Hi, I’m Cyril, 18 now.
I’ve been interested in occult and magic-related matters since I was very young, trying out all sorts of spells and chaosmagick whatnot from youtube videos etc. To be honest though I was never really committed or disciplined to anything so unsurprisingly I’ve never gotten any results. As such I am essentially still a newbie or even skeptic. One thing I have mastered at one point in time though was lucid dreaming (albeit I’ve gone really rusty recently from lack of practice).
Right now I’ve been trying to ground myself in more Eastern philosophies (eg Confucianism, Taoism) through reading their ancient texts as I’m East Asian myself so I’ve been interested in my own culture. I can read Classical Chinese (which many buddhist and taoist works are written in), so I’d be happy to help with translations here.
Personally I’ve been in a tough spot a while with regards to health socials and other stuff. I hope to be able to meet knowledgeable people or deities from here and finally learn something that I can put to effective use to help myself and those around me. But at the same time my motivations stem from much more than just self-interest as I do have this deep desire to be able to understand the workings behind this universe, and especially of the other unseen world with which I interact with so little. At the end of the day I still haven’t experienced anything as of yet so I want to see/feel something most of all.
