I had a rather fun time exploring the astral realm and upon my own ignorance, i decided to seek out advice from Metatron, and that litterally brought me to what I’d later learn is Da’at. So to describe it, its an abyss that is unseeable with a grey foggy ripply wall barring way past to kether.
However it is not unoccupied. There is a vastly powerful entity that can completely take control of an individual to restrain them. They could have kept me there forever. I had one glimpse of them before the terrified feeling I can only describe as their vissage took hold of me. In spite of this horrific experience and a second visit there, I’ve concluded that it is a unified duality.
A guardian, or judge to deem those worthy or not to continue past. They outright state your crime that makes you unworthy. With a bit of begging on my part, they clearly cannot read minds, and they claim to have followers.
To describe their appearence, it was like looking at two bone white faces of children with hair as black as the abyss and eyes hollowed out as if they themselves were the infinite black emptyness. And they were fused at the cheek. Their voice is also a duality but two distinct voices, one female one male in their contrasts. They seem to speak hebrew as well as all other languages if they choose.
To decide of they are an angel, a demon, a god or even Metatron, I’d say they are not meeting any of those categories. So to the best of my knowledge, fear them, respect them, because everyone is going to meet them.

The implication, since you saw it as “foggy” is that you are one of those who cannot see it clearly. Since you could not see clearly, and you don’t seem to have connected with any other Sefiroth, I would be cautious about assuming anything else you received impressions of was from Da’ath as opposed to something else, such as inner subconscious messages.
Da’at or Daath just means “Belief.” It is basically the 11th Dimensional Informational (what some occultist call the Dark Energy field) that exists both in liminal spaces, but also Structured Spaces/Matrices simultaneously. It is basically a Unified Field.
What you encountered was someone’s Astral Space Structure built upon Daath. Daath isn’t necessarily a secret place you go that is seperate from Ordinary Reality, but whatever you were probably seeking is more aligned with certain shifts in perception to experience what you may of thought Daath should be like. But there are many shades of grey of course.
On the Kaballah Tree they Pinpoint Daath to exist in a certain location. It is true it exists on all points of the Tree. But that specific point in the mid to higher regions is for teaching purposes as the Kabbalah tree also Mimics a Map of the Human Body… what is really being referrenced is the Physical Gateway or “Reptillian Brainstem” that connects the Brain with the Body.
