Sanatas - Some stupid egregore?

My entire thread is based on this Wordpress article of V. K. Jehannum

1st thing: How is Sanatas the One True King of Demons and only V. K. Jehannum knows it, and why does Sanatas allows Satan to masquerade as the One True King of Demons

2nd thing: Who is the new motherfucker god: “taking revenge on “God.” He wasn’t speaking of the deity venerated by adherents to Abrahamic religion– he was referring to a being that I am incapable of comprehending”

3rd thing: Why does Sanatas sigil look like a child’s badly drawn crayon drawing of a spider drawn slanted with a stylized IMO written with a similar slope below the spider and then SANATAS written straight at the bottom.
Looks like a discarded drawing from page thrown into the bin by comic book writer, not the sigil of the True Lord of Darkness

4th and the most important: How come no Satanist ever heard of it? Why work with Satan if he isn’t the Lord of Darkness?

It’s common for people with strongly held beliefs to state their opinion as fact. That doesn’t mean you have to take it on board, it doesn’t automatically make it the Truth™, as there’s no such thing in magick. If you don’t agree, that’s completely ok. I would suggest hearing people out, putting it on one side as “interesting” and then if you want, follow up in your practice, try the ritual out, ask Sanatas yourself and then decide what you think.

I’m sorry I don’t understand this question. Are you referring to a BALG post? Otherwise - opinions are like armpits, everybody should have a couple  There’s not need to get upset about what’s in someone else’s mind - that’s up to them and it’s not your business to tell them what to think any more than it is theirs to tell you the same…

This seems to be an emotional response of your part because you don’t like the material. I would suggest grounding and developing your discernment. Being merely rude about it in public isn’t a good look. You can do better, I’m sure.

This is called UPG. Unverified Personal Gnosis. Knowledge dopesn’t make itself, people think of it themselves. Unlike maky others tis author is making efforts to discover new information rather than only parroting what has gone before You don’t have to agree with him, but I’d suggest tou TRY it before dismissing it out of hand in a knee-jerk reaction.

This question makes no sense. What the fuck is a “Lord of Darkness” anyway and why would I care? Who is “satan” and why do I care. Hint: I don’t, satan to me is a title worn my many, and I don’t pay any attention to the religiosity around that title.

The religious-minded are often dogmatic and less than thoughtful people that get belligerent and aggressive when other people, minding their own business, don’t follow their religion. It makes them unfun to talk to.

This is why I’m here on BALG, the folks here are generally very tolerant, intelligent, articulate and fun, and a great crew to share this journey with. And they won’t pander to you but will be respectful about disagreeing, which is all we ask here.

I could be wrong, but I’m hearing that you have an identity formed around certain beliefs that this challenges for some reason? I would encourage you to look inside yourself for why this bothers you, if it does, as holding too hard onto beliefs out of identity is a fear-based attitude that limits your potential to take on new data and grow… “don’t knock till you’ve tried it”.

Ok, with that said - welcome to the forum!

We have some rules I’m going to need you to know about…

Please do make your next post your Introduction HERE, which we need per the forum rules and see our posting guidelines in the FAQ.

Points to cover:

  • Do you have any practical experience in magick?

  • If so, what exactly do you practice and how long have you practiced?

  • Do you follow any specific system or tradition?

  • What are your areas of interest?

Here is a getting started with magick guide. You’ll want to get your spiritual hygiene sorted out, and start work on developing your astral senses, then when you can know you have a decent chance at avoiding impostors and parasites then try the evocation guides we have on here.

For reference:

The rules are here

The posting guidelines are here in the FAQ

The Terms of Service are here

Welcome indeed!

Looks like you already made up your mind

This is VK’s upg, you’re free to disagree or investigate/ experiment for yourself. That is the idea.
This is part of his thing by the way, invoking/ evoking and reporting on lesser known or even unkown spirits.

Why the sigil looks like that, is because that is what actual channeled or at least intuitively handdrawn sigils gotten through and during ritual look like. Many medieval to 18th century sigils channeled or at least designed by serious demonologists in grimoires often look like that as well. Look at the complete Grimorum Verum sigil of Lucifer for instance. Or the sigil for Clauneck.

I’d forgotten that but you’re right. Those old monks didn’t exactly have graphics software and a lot of the newer sigils are cleaned up.

Someone posted those ones on here in tis post:

I hand draw all my sigils, sometimes I carve them in candles, they’re never 100% to the book but they do just fine. It’s the intention that really matters. I can’t believe I forgot to say that.

Intent is everything!

Yes indeed! I’d even go so far as intent and energy/ effort is everything.
A crooked and slightly crappier handdrawn version I’ve put some intent and effort in works better for me than a neat and tidy printed version.

C.kendall’s Seal of the Antiverse is the only exception I’ve experienced so far.
The geometry of it seems more powerful than the effort I put in drawing a crappier version.

In the Wordpress article, Sanatas angry at V.K.Jehannum for getting summoned (who gets angry at being summoned??) attacked V.K.Jehannum with the demons (though I wonder why he didn’t banish the uninvited, unknown demons when he could see them earlier) and forcefully possessed him and went on an uncontrollable tirade about purging the earth with fire and taking revenge on “God.” Sanatas wasn’t speaking of the deity venerated by adherents to Abrahamic religion– Sanatas was referring to a being that V.K.Jehannum was incapable of comprehending

I have worked with Satan, Lucifer, Pazuzu, 10 Goetic demons, Nethers of Azazel but neither did they attack me nor did I fear them. I knew I was going to banish them if they made a wrong move

Shadows always attracted me, I have drawn power from the shadows. I never feared shadows in my life

But Sanatas is the first entity who sent shivers down my spine when I just read an article about him

I generally use pyrokinesis for creating sigils. Just burn the paper, controlling the fire🔥to create the design. It looks … hellish good

So what? That’s his articulation of what he experienced and not your business.

I think you’re trying way too hard to interpret someone else’s psychology, and you don’t even know if they interpreted it themselves completely or articulated it fully.

Why can’t you respect his UPG for what it is - UPG. There’s no rule that’s days you have to accept it as true in your worldview.

You expect us to accept yours at face value, such as saying you can control fire… how about you do the same for others and lead by example?

We are not going to be able to explain someone else’s experience. We are not the them. They are not here, they cannot defend themselves and here you are discussing them behind their back. This is not making them look bad.

If I told you half the things I experience in ritual, you’d say exactly the same things to me, I guarantee it. I actually do have posts on here detailing how I nuked every archon in my universe, how I’ve been surprise-posessed, and what I think of “god” snd what it is. So I’m not in a position to point fingers and I know it - why don’t you?

A lot of folks here are probably thinking the same thing. If you can judge one person, in public, you will judge them too. All that will result in is people dismissing you as a skeptic who thinks only their weirdness is ok but nobody elses is.

This is just making you look judgmental and it’s not just you. it causes amages to stay silent and not share their experiences as they also judge themselves as well as fearing judgement That’s a shame as so many people question and want to know if that crazy thought they had meant anything, and they end up not sharing for fear that they’ll be judged as larpers.

That’s why this forum respects UPG, because there’s not always an easy way to tell if an experience is honest or storytelling, and I for one cannot play thought police. It’s not our job to tell others what is truth, you already know this doesn’t work for you so why are you walking time letting this guy live rent free in your head?

It’s literally a rule on this forum that if you don’t like a post, you absolutely do not moralise or naysay on a working thread, you say nothing and you move on.

That courtesy extends to external providers. I’m letting this post stand as it’s about a specific concept and not reviewing the service provider in general, but if it went there I’d have to close the thread. We don’t bring drama here we just discuss the magick.

Honestly, let people be to do their thing and they’ll let you be. It’s the journey not yours and only they can walk their walk. You do you.
