My Introduction

Hello All,
I have been practicing magick (or energy work as I like to call it) for about 10 years now. I have been more of a passive practitioner, only using magick for protection and justice.

I have been mostly drawn to the 72 Angels and Demons, but I have recently connected with Papa Legba, something that feels like its been a long time coming.

I have pretty decent experiences in magick. The spells that seem to not work are the ones that I have casted to remove abusive people from this earth. I think my guides block this kinda thing. Other than that, my protection and justice spells have worked pretty much all of the time.

I am from NY. My current struggles and ambitions are learning to accept my path. I seem to have this unrelenting calling to be an energetic healer for those who struggle with “dark” issues. I’ve been avoiding it, but the work always shows up in my life in the form of a new friend, a family crisis or an assignment to help a random stranger via remote energy work in my sleep!

Most recently, I have found myself entangled with an obsessed ex who seems to refuse to go away unless he gets his healing. This experience is getting out of hand and has made me evaluate the need to take my spiritual path more seriously. Hopefully, I will connect with folks here that will lend insight into resolving and healing this situation and this individual!

Where are you from? What tradition do you practice and how long have you practiced it?

I would agree all magick is about changing energy, but not all magick is thought of as an energy working modality, which is it’s own thing. We have a category on here Kundalini, Chakras & Energy Work - Become A Living God if you’re interested. .

As an energy worker myself, I have been a qigong practitioner for about 26 years. I am also an occultist practicing in the modern western grimoiric tradition, I also use Norse rune magick, concepts from Egyptian magick, card divination, shamanic journeying, remote viewing, European traditional witchcraft and Wort Cunning.

Baneful magick and healing conflicting energies. If you have guides with an agenda for you to be “A healer”, ass opposed to doing healing when it suits you and attacking enemies when it doesn’t, the aggressive part would be contrary to that agenda and they could very well get in the way if that is your agreement with them. healing modalities usually don;t include a component for influencing, only balancing and positive, co-creative healing.

If you made no such agreement and this is against your will, you don’t have guides you have controllers. It’s up to you if you want to get with their program or banish them to go your own way. IF that’s the issue. A divination on a case by case basis may show that there are unique issues with each failure, not one overall cause.

For getting into the Goetia you have a choice of methods. I use the Medieval European Grimoiric sigils with modern sigil techniques and pathworking… as opposed to Solomonic techniques derived from the Kabbalistic tradition or Ebbs from modern Demonolatry, the other two main popular contact techniques.

Sounds like a big topic! Feel free to open a thread and we’ll all be happy to try to help with suggestions and analysis. You may not have his permission to heal him as it’s against his free will, and divination into the causes is usually a good place to start here. Without conscious permission the guides,if they are healing guides, will not help and may block you like the block baneful workings, if that’s what’s happening. Needs more insight for sure.

Where are you from? What tradition do you practice and how long have you practiced it?

Thanks! I am from New York. Just outside of NYC. I guess I am rooted mostly in demonology, but it’s a bit chaotic, if you will. I’ve worked with nature quite a bit, including herbs and elements into my magic. I have also done quite a bit with planetary magic and Olympic spirits. I’ve called on Angels and I have also studied and utilized reiki. This is where I learned that my soul also astral travels and heals others during sleep. My reiki teacher told me as much when I asked him to help me understand my wild and frightening “dreams”. He also told me I am psychic. Lastly, I have also used good ole fashioned visualization techniques for simple manifestation work as well. I’ve been practicing for about 15 years now.

Exactly!! lol They don’t allow me to switch it up, smh. It def feels like I have an agreement with a spiritual “team” and healing and protection are the only things on the agenda. Kina sucks sometimes! Once, I even “happened upon” a shaman who worked out of this spa I was visiting. She saw me and asked me if it was ok for her to give me a free reading. I reluctantly obliged (as my spirit team is always butting in when I get too far off track, and I knew that this was THAT, lol). Once she started her reading, she seemed highly focused on “adjusting” my new found vengeful energy. I grew weary of healing and decided I wanted to just eliminate the assholes that cause the problems in people who need the healing! It’s painful to see others in pain and back then I didn’t know how to shield myself, so I started losing my patience… but now I know how to protect my energy, so it’s not AS bad!! Long story short, she worked with me a few times and in our last session she all but shreaked with joy once she saw my energy “shift” back into my desire to heal. So yeah … there’s an agreement and they def get in the way if I go off path.

Enn chanting, sigil gazing and telepathic communication with them works pretty well for me. I’ve never attempted the Solomonic approach. They seem like brothers and sisters to me. Lucifer, specifically ALWAYS makes me laugh when I commune with him. He doesn’t like the path working approach as much tho. He seems to really enjoy it when I sing his enn and I swear I feel him tickling me and wanting to just kick back like brother and sister whenever I try to HONOR him. He’s so jovial and lighthearted, almost like he wants to go down memory lane. I’m gonna delve into this deeper and see if he can help me unlock more details about my past lives. There’s gotta be some connection here that I don’t quite recall!

Yes, it’s been quite frightening! I was actually thinking about creating a thread because there is soooo much to unpack and dissect. I have mostly been only binding him and I tried a pretty powerful banishing as well. My guides revealed that the bindings are working, but he won’t actually be going away. He seems to be the catalyst for a massive spiritual change that I must undergo. My guides are making it clear that his presence won’t be removed from my life until I have achieved that undertaking. This man seems to have 9 lives. It’s like he is some sort of hybrid demon man with ridiculous strength and luck!! When we were on good terms, I told him I was a healer.

He confessed that he wanted to know how to love. He said he wanted to fight himself to achieve this goal. And I once told him that I was energetically “claiming” him and I would have the right to manipulate his life and energy unless he didn’t want me to. He never opposed and now I CURSE the day I uttered those words. He fell in love with my energy and he became addicted to my love and support but then he tried to destroy my relationship with my ex (whom I still co parent with) so he could have me all to himself. I did my best to encourage him to communicate his way thru these insecurities, but he refused. So I had to walk away.

For all intents and purposes, it seems like he is the ultimate test. I tried to dismiss him and ignore him but his behavior has gotten pretty extreme and dark, which is why I am here. You’ve been so welcoming thus far, so I will def open a new thread and unpack all the details of where I see this going and what help I might need. Thanks soooo much for the warm welcome!!!
