Jadziya wants to tell us djinn do not lay eggs :D

Why do you, specifically, think it is a “Jaan” jinn?

Yes, going to a specialist may help.

Jinn do not lay eggs.

Welcome to the forum. Please make an introduction before making any more posts.

FYI, “kill it before it lays eggs” is called an “Idiom”, or a “turn of phrase”, it did not mean that subject actually lays eggs, but it IS alluding to insect extermination, and In basically saying this entity, jdinni or not, is behaving like a parasite. Idioms usually do not translate directly between languages. I am a native Englush speaker and this is an idiom in the English language.

Mulberry,

I have a PhD and teach academic English at the university level. You do not need to explain language to me.

Idiomatic usage and request for introduction noted.

@Jadziya Please do not derail topics with redundant and unnecessarily argumentative posts. Please be aware this is a discussion forum NOT social media. Any further posts of yours will be removed until our rule requiring an introduction is respected.

Please do make your next post your Introduction HERE, which we need per the forum rules and see our posting guidelines in the FAQ.

Points to cover:

  • Do you have any practical experience in magick?

  • If so, what exactly do you practice and how long have you practiced?

  • Do you follow any specific system or tradition?

  • What are your areas of interest?

Here is a getting started with magick guide. You’ll want to get your spiritual hygiene sorted out, and start work on developing your astral senses, then when you can know you have a decent chance at avoiding impostors and parasites then try the first contact guides we have on here.

Ok, good for you? Nevertheless, please consider that this is an international forum, which is open to search engines. Posts including yours can be seen by several thousand people, some of whom will not know what an idiom is, and information here may be useful to more people than just yourself.

As a “university professor” I would imagine you should be able to understand that sometimes it’s not about you.
