It’s a kind of empathetic pick up on your intention. Martial artists develop it also, to be able to tell when an opponent wants to attack.
Not having predatory feelings towards them will mean there’s nothing predatory to pick up. If it’s more about what you want from the target, that has a different feel than say, pictuing them laughing because you made them happy or are remembering good times.
