basic summoning options: I’d suggest a petition, it’s the safest considering you are new and have not spend any time either developing your senses to know that what you get is what you asked for, or setting up protections against unwanted energy, backlash or attracting unwanted spirits like parasites.
I do suggest that before you run a ritual at least smudge the place and intentionally clear out any unwanted, angry, stressed or negative energy. You cook in a clean kitchen: do magick in a clean house.
