Experiences with Angels of Omnipotence Books: Tempest vs. Blackthorne

Hey everyone! l’m looking to work with the Angels of Omnipotence, and I know there are two popular books: “Angels of Omnipotence” by Jareth Tempest and “Secret Angel Magic” by Adam Blackthorne Some people have mentioned that Jareth Tempest’s work can be more disruptive, while others say Blackthorne’s is safer. I’d love to hear from anvone who’s used these books. what was your experience? Which one would vou recommend? And are there any safetv steps or words I should use when working with them? Thanks so much

I have never heard of Jareth Tempest’s book being disruptive in any way. The glyphs in it are keys for the specific powers of the angels and are about as safe as magick gets. His pathworkings are also goodl for more direct contact. I’ve personally never bothered with Blackthorne’s book. I’m not really a fan of his stuff as I find it too limited. Damon Brand and Gordon Winterfield are the better authors of the Gallery.

Again im not trying to provoke or stir the pot, but there was a member that posted here years ago how those angels of omnipotence are destructive, that Jareth stole the formula of working with the angels of omnipotence, and someone mentioned that the book contained bad energy, and at the same time in other forums people mentioned how SAM formula of using trio angels is more stable, so I’m bit hesitant and worried.

Yeah, that was a load of bullshit. Some unknown dude on the internet got butthurt because Jareth Tempest used an initiation ritual that he had posted on his public blog to make contact with the Angels of Omnipotence and then used that initial contact for further work. However, what Tempest did was no different than those on this forum who use an EA Koetting ritual as a jumping off point for their own work. It’s a normal part of magical innovation.

There is no specific “formula” for working with the Angels of Omnipotence to steal. That’s just ridiculous. The AOO have been known about for decades, and originate in a grimoire called the Sixth and Seventh Books of Moses. They first came to the attention of modern mages through works of results magick such as Geoff Grey Cobb’s New Avatar Power, which introduced Elubatel to pop occultism.

Both myself and Mulberry have had success with Jareth Tempest’s book, and have never felt any “bad energy” from it. It’s method is simple and direct, but if you prefer Blackthorne, then use his method. It ultimately comes down to whatever method you are most comfortable with. You’re the operator. As I said, I personally don’t resonate with Blackthorne’s stuff so I don’t use it.

Thank you so much for your reply and kind words. Is there a private group where people have written about their experience or just publicly on the forum ?

People just write publicly. This is a discussion forum after all.

Personally, Angels of Omnipotence (2021) is one of my go-to books for workings and I LOVE Ebuhuel in particular, who I have become close friends with. He gave me permission to make an open offer for help passing on that I posted here: Ebhuhel offer: Help to avoid reincarnation traps

I don’t have the “Secret Angel Magic” book (2023 - it came out later and I just don’t feel the need for it, I also just don’t really like GoM in general as they feel a bit.. Llewellyn, to me, if you know what I mean  ).

As it seems to build on the Angels of Omnipotence, I’d suggest getting Jareth’s Book first, getting the original contact without the 2nd authors overlay, and then the Blackthorn book can add a layer of richness perhaps.

There must be some redditor or whatnot out there being weird about it, because one other person said that also - it’s all hearsay as far as we know so far.

On THIS forum, many of our members have worked with them, and while I don’t recall anything negative, it’s worth using the search on the specific entity names to see what people said, and if anything gives you warning vibes.

I seem to remember there was some kind of drama when the book came out with the people Jareth worked with on the original ideas, and I wonder if that’s related.

Not more than the usual - you should have your spiritual hygiene on point, know how to recognize and banish parasites that get attracted to ALL magickal effort, and set up your wards and shields. I will post this until I’m blue in the face an nobody reads it - prove me wrong…

The first thing to get under your belt are your protections: like spiritual hygiene, then you want to get into developing your astral senses and avoiding impostors and parasites

My advice, in any case, is do not listen to hearsay, dogma or other people’s drama - magick is PERSONAL, and you will only find out if it works by trying it, and then you must make up your own mind. If you are a mage and not a sheeple, your Will is what matters, and nobody else’s. The fact that you are even considering the work, means you have an open invite.

“Do as you will is the whole of the law; love is the law” - basically if you love it, do it. Do both, do either, it doesn’t matter as long as you act on your will. The more the merrier.

Hello, Damiano!

The Angels, in my opinion, are good to work with. They were my go-to Angels, beings, etc, for some considerable time after I had to make some shifts and work with different energies from what I was working with, and I still work with them.

On the subject of whether they are destructive, disruptive or not, I have mainly worked with them for the most part on things that have turned out to be positive for me.

That being said, people might feel or react to their energies in different ways, particularly if they are new to working with them. I think it is more of a reaction to their energies than them actively trying to be something or doing things that would make them be considered to be disruptive or destructive.

At the beginning, in particular, it had an effect on my mood after a working with them if I used the pathworkings instead of the glyphs. God knows I once did a cleansing working of a kind with Uiazel, using his pathwork, that left me struggling for a bit to uplift myself. But as the times went on, and I continued working with them, I think I felt that effect less and less, but the workings were still effective. I say so because this is not something I think about nowadays when I work with them. I just go and do it.

They are wonderful beings. Go ahead and work with them and have fun!

You used Jareth’s book ? and let’s say you wanted to create a petition to attract your ideal job, how would you formalize it ?

You would not use petitions here, you should follow the instructions in the book to use the glyphs or the path workings.

Im very terrible in pathworking, but i meant with the jareth tempest book, I cant make a petition as written and then think about it while I’m gazing at the sigil and saying the angel’s name ?

No and there’s no sigils, they’re “glyphs”. (There are no sigils in Angels of Omnipotence. I don’t know about the Blackthorn book.) Just read the instructions and follow them, no need to overthink it.

After you have learned it the way the author intended, then you have a baseline where you can try mixing it up - learn the rules before you try to bend them.

Otherwise, if you don’t get results you will always wonder if it was because of the way you did it, or because the angel didn’t come through, your doubt will go through the roof, give you a lack of confidence and have a negative knock-on effect on all our workings. Put the effort in and you will get it back tenfold.
