The fact that you at least care about it is a good sign.
I can’t tell you what to do in those cases. If you really suspect it to be some mental issue, it probably wouldn’t hurt to get help from a therapist.

If it’s any help at all… Real or not karma is a principle that has been around in various spiritual movements for thousands of years. There’s a lot of research you can do about the subject for yourself.
Don’t the musings of others dictate what you believe to be real or not. Especialy if the principles of Karma and the law of cause and effect is something that is beneficial to you personaly in your day to day life.

Man, your beliefs are correct! If you don’t feel comfortable to change, and the change will only cause you to loose what makes you feel a good person, don’t do it. As I said, beliefs are powerful, so if you’re believing that making good will attract good, it will in fact! So do what’s the best for you, do not having the same thoughts or opinions of the others is what makes you… You! This is the point of this forum, to be an open space for different opinions and beliefs.

Karma is the accumulation of particular energetic patterning to your life based off your intentions and actions and beliefs… which will predicate how much momentum you will have or not have behind you in order to gain realization

It’s my claim that karma is the reason why rebirth happens. We don’t have a personal soul like that. What we have is karmic energy that is created when we make a decision. As long we make decision either by desire or will we will be in the cycle of rebirth because energy cannot de destroyed.
