Deity reach out?

I’m just beginning witch craft and the most I know is majority about crystals, a few spells (very few), practicing tarot reading (𝓘 am somewhat good), and I am starting to bond with a pendulum

I just woke up from a vivid dream, and it felt weird because everything was funny in my dream until the end, where Dream me decided to do divination with my tarot cards and tell me something about someone called hekatate or somewhere around there. Then I woke up, I don’t know if this dream was pure jokes or something, its not often I have vivid dreams

But if something were to reach to me, what should I do as a baby witch? I don’t want to anger a spirit of some sort

The first thing to get under your belt are your protections: like spiritual hygiene, then you want to get into developing your astral senses and avoiding impostors and parasites

When you can be sure you’ll not get attacked by parasites, (or ,you know how to recognize them and banish) then try contacting someone… First Contact from Sigils to Evocation Collection.

Doesn’t really happen, not unless you’re trying to be a dick, which you’re not. It’s not a great idea to project onto them the weakest of human behavior. They are not human and they don’t react to things the way most of us do.

There’s a huge problem you’re making for yourself here - this is fear-based thinking, and as a creator being, you can manifest what you fear. It’s a strong emotion and good at doing that. So put that out of your mind and don’t worry, and know you are valued and worthy and it’s wanted that you do this work to empower yourself and grow.

If you feel Hecate (Greek goddess of Magick) is a good option to work with, go ahead! This is your choice, it’s often said that just feeling drawn to an entity also means they are inviting you to work with them. If you try the search, you’ll see she’s quite popular to work with and might get some ideas of how you want to go about it in terms of system or tradition.
