Layered spells and petitioning for Love workings

I am very new to all of this and was wondering, for the powerful layered love spell mentioned above with all the different spirits…could I write individual petitions to them? I’ve never worked with sigils or did an evocation. Would the individual petitions work just as well as evocation?
Thank you for your help.

I moved this out as the person you reposnded to is no longer here, and the thread deserved it’s own space

I think these are the topics you’re talking about?

An example of a love layered spell

Thank you so much! Yes, this was the topic I was asking about.

No problem

Yes, it looks like separate evocations, so you can substitute with petitions. :+1:

So do what you want, but if you’re new to this, I’d consider a simpler approach. Layered workings like this can work well, but part of the point is often to give you an understanding of the human mind and behavior.

If you’re just trying to get into a relationship with this person, I’d take a look at Magickal Seduction by Damon Brand, or summon up Sitri and Sallos and pretty much leave it at that. Just make em horny with magick and don’t be an asocial moron and that’ll maximize your chances. Sometimes, the less you “try,” the less you get in your own way and things happen very easily.

Generally speaking, you want to boost your attractiveness, then create attraction between you and the person you desire. It has been said that people have gone to war over horniness. It doesn’t always have to be an ultra complicated procedure.

Hi Shinri,
Thank you so much! I am currently in a long distance relationship with him and I would like to really strengthen our relationship, deepen our bond and his love for me.

This layered spell seemed like it had all the right spirits to do that. Or is there another way to do that with just one spirit?

You can pretty much do with just one entity. From my POV even one spirit can work better than the layered spell. Just gotta have that beleif and connection with the entity you choose. Sallos can pretty much help deepen the bonds.

Thank you so much! I will try working with Sallos first and see how that goes.

Hey, thanks for sharing this wonderful layered spell! It is great to see that people share knowledge without much moralising and such. I have one question: why Belial? It is one of the hardest demons to work with - in terms he used to burn everything in your life down before rebuilding it… Which is not suitable for many people especially beginners.

Well, that’s literally against the rules  If you see moralizing on a “working thread” - meaning a thread that is discussing solutions - (or other rule breaks) as a member you have the ability to hit the Flag icon and anonymously let a mod know there’s an issue.

See:

To be honest, I did not write those posts I just linked to them as the forum’s Librarian and general busy body. I’ve been here less than half the forums lifetime (maybe 5 years now) but I’ve read a lot of it and remember when I’ve seen posts that could help. I learned most of what I know about the Western occult from this forum and E.A.

I also like to hint that there’s 13 years of good stuff here if people would just try the search, there’s SO Much people are missing it’s not even funny.

So, about Belial… if you read the post the OP tell you:

So, this is working with Belial in his capacity as the Breaker of Chains.

This is something you’ll see form time to time in grimoires - but run on yourself. I’ve noticed it in Corwin Hargrove’s Jinn Magic, and Sorceress Cagliastro’s 29 Deadly Sigils, (2 of my personal faves) - there will be a working that is kind of preparing you as a mage to do the work, by clearing blocks and getting you to hand yourself permission to do it. So he’s good for that too. Also breaking addictions, and bindings. I’m a fan, but full disclosure I have Belial permanently invoked, so I would say that, I like me as I am.

I don’t know why you’d say that. He won’t coddle you, he won’t do for you what you can do for yourself, but there’s no reason to expect that unless you ask for it. Intention is important. Make sure it’s super clear and you know what you want.

If you read around this forum, Belial is a popular guy and the vast majority of people don’t have this kind of issue. But they don’t ask for recklessness. They ask for help with practical issue like law or workplace oppression.
He didn’t do it to me.

And, what if there’s noting wrong with your life that would need rebuilding?

So… don’t do that?
It’s your magick, there’s no reason for you to give that kind of permission if you think it’s a risk but don’t want to go there.

You’re the operator, you are in charge.

Intention. Is. Everything.

Sorry for my late reply, was busy reading TONS of threads here. This forum is real gold. And yes, so happy because of your rules. I spent a few weeks on Reddit and was really expsting of people moralising over free will and stuff like that, even on black magick subreddit. Unbeliavable. I am happy to be here.

Thanks for this. I have never worked with him before or even thought that I will work. Very interesting stuff.

Haha you are right. Actually ofcourse not everything is ideal in my life, far from that - but I dont feel ready for his big nudges and changes. Just a bit scared. Didint want to offend you or other guys that are working with him. But I still think he is not for the beginners, or at least they should be prepared before starting with him.

Thanks a lot for your quick and helpful response once again

My two cents here:

I am currently in the middle of this type of work. I will reveal the details when and if it’s successful, but for now I can say that psychology plays a role here that can’t be overlooked.

Magick aside, usually human relationships don’t work for a number of reasons, meaning that it’s not just a lack of attraction or compatibility but many things combined. If you decide to go down the layered route for this, take some time to think and list all the reasons why things aren’t what you want them to be. Be as clear and detached as possible, and if you have professional help available, even better. By the end of this process you should have a list of things to work on.

Then you can do your research on this forum or go straight to the grimoire of your choice and find out what spirits and rituals would help best for each topic. From there you just do the rituals to the best of your ability.

From personal experience I can say that none of the above will work if you are desperate or emotionally unstable, so it’s always good to layer the ground first with spells to improve your mental clarity and self confidence. My recommendation for this is Dantalion for the first and Sallos for the second, but if you resonate with other spirits for this task go for it.

Divination is, in my opinion, crucial for this type of project. Use the method of your choice before you start the process, and also do weekly check-ins (not more than once a week) to see how energies are moving and if your approach is correct. If you layer multiple spells for just one issue, it’s very likely that you will have to tweak things as you go along, and for this divination is a very valuable tool.

Other members of this forum have talked about doing multiple spells in one day, but me personally I can only do one per day, and not more than three weekly, as it takes a lot of energy and I have a life outside of my magickal practices. You do you but I believe a minimum of 24 hours between rituals is necessary.

Expect mindset and emotional shifts in yourself as you work on another person, since the energy between both of you will be heavily impacted by your work.

Hope you get the results you seek.
