hey, I’m rickey, 19, from Alabama USA and haven’t practiced at all yet. i am looking to partner with Naamah. i do not have any experience but would like a friend or somebody to help me through my journey. i have had tarot readings but that is as far as i have gone before. My struggles are just simply put that i struggle with human connection in a way, and would like to have power over that. i love music and am a geek and a nerd who loves playing magic the gathering and dungeons and dragons. i love to read and sometimes write. i can’t say what exactly got me into this demonology, maybe it was just the idea of the supernatural and then i took i seriously after a few encounters. i believe it all started when i was 14 when i started seeing a figure. this figure has followed me since and it literally just stands there. i would describe it as a six-foot black shadowy figure with a top hat. at one point it was three feet away from me, so yes it really did startle me but that and a couple others are what i have seen. that is me, my experiences, and my goals.

The “Hat Man”? Not great - banish and cleanse and set up proper wards, “shadow people” are useless bunch of wannabes and need to not be helping themselves to a free lunch at your expense, they offer nothing and are a waste of your time.
Worse they can interrupt connections you try to make - like to Namaah - and pretend to be the entity you wanted to talk to while never making good on promises or agreements - and that totally undermines your goals, your confidence in your magick and your relationships with worthwhile entities. Get rid of them before you try to summon or invoke.

so, I had just remembered that as a kid i wasn’t exactly smart, and i invited demons verbally and was wondering if that could’ve been possible. i am just trying to figure out where the ones that are attached to me came from and how they came to me. any guidance on the hat man and how he might have attached to me?

The Hat Man is not a demon, he’s a shadow person. And yes calling them can invite them to mess with you.
Uninviting them and rescinding permission reverses that.
Higher beings will respect free will, and not being Christian I don’t them “demons”… Lesser entities I usually call parasites and astral wildlife, and those you can banish and remove and are what I might call demons if I used that word.
Earth is closest to both hell and heaven.
