One thing im always trying to understand is what is this slanderous crap with Christianity? Like ok its wrong for all of us to be using magick (for whatever reason) but if your praying to god for an angel to help you how is that no different than summoning?
IMO it’s not, but you would need one of our resident Christian/ex-Christian magicians to really answer properly on that, I think.

The only difference between praying to a god and evocation is that with prayer, you’re ultimately submitting to an entity, whereas with evocation you’re submitting an entity to you. But both get results if done correctly.

Thank you, I am really need to know about selling soul, I grow up with a lot Christian mindset teaching, I have a lot wrong thoughts and wrong understanding about the things I know for many years, I get mislead by religion or some movies I watched.
This thread and the video is like a big slap to my face, is like out of sudden slap me to make me realize myself so stupid and naive that always thoughts we can sell our souls to get something impossible to get or make some impossible task to be done, and I even have a thinking to ignored about we must work hard for what we want.
I was in middle of some difficult time in my life, I facing a lot issues and problems, to be honest, I really can’t solve them all by myself, everything is just go lost control, and what I can do is just see things fails, see things gone, see things broke and broken and is like I am really hard to go on…living.
Is all my own fault, stupid and mistakes, I have to face it myself, and I am so lost my way on how to rebuild everything that already the facts now. I know is time for me to really grow up, and not to keep dreaming all the impossible things…I need time, I need guidance.
I wish to get on track on how to do, step by step to getting things become better, learn from my mistakes and keeps myself away for not doing the same again. I need to accept myself, yes, from all things that happened show that I am failed, but this is not the reason I can keeps on continue to feed my weak. Keep crying and sad all day, not sleep, not eat, go working without heart and soul…is not the way. I am not weak, I have to get up from all of this now…I will try my best…

You have found your way here and not rejected the information you found, so you are already ahead of the game: things may be tough, I cannot imagine your circumstances and will not try to comment, but you possess the birthright of doing magick in whatever form YOU choose, you do not need to give away that which is priceless, your freedom, in order to improve your situation and become happier and stronger.

I remember at one time (as a kid) I wanted to sell my soul, because I was hoping that if I didn’t have so much moral integrity, I could do stuff I wanted and go along with the crowd, get people to like me etc. (and ironically get in less trouble with authority figures.) What I didn’t realize then is who my demonic patrons were, and how much they already were influencing me.

It’s what you do to show your Dedication, during Evocation, all the Gatekeepers and others beings for anything especially with an offering. It’s like that you enter into an agreement and if you choose this path won’t your soul change anyways?

Selling one’s soul is an Abrahamic myth. What would they do with it? eat it? screw it when the old lady was out? make it mine salt? a human soul has about as much value as a half used AA battery, hell. the battery is probably worth more recycled.
Now as to making pacts… Honest pay for honest work I say, but EA is the expert on that I think. I just stay in the wading pool these days.

Second of all, no deity (that I’m aware of) asks you to sell your soul. It’s hollywood exaggerated garbage.

You cant do that. Your life is planned. You are under a contract with heaven,It would be useless.
It’s not possible. Rather, focus on your own power. That’s why the forum was built. Why would you want to sell it either way? Think this way; if the soul is YOU, you are selling yourself and therefore you don’t even enjoy what you get in return. Only your human husk/soul-less spirit would enjoy it. Is it worth it, then?
You don’t need to sell your soul to do magic. None of us here sold our soul as far as I know and it doesn’t stop us from practicing magic and ritual.
When I was a devout christian (for roughly 2 decades) I literally asked every single day ‘God’ to maintain me in the christian light and to override my free will (I suppose soul as well, in a way) in case I were to be led astray into ‘evil’ and ‘temptation’.
And yet here I am, an LHP occultist and apostate, the antithesis of what christianity appreciates. Nobody can override your free will, I would argue not even your past self or past decisions. It’s yours for a reason. Not even the so-called ‘God’ can take away your soul, and frankly you don’t even need to give it away to anything or anyone in particular.
Magic doesn’t care about lineage, about one’s soul, one’s alignment or moral values or lack thereof. If you want to use magic, just learn and practice, there’s no real spiritual prerequisites for we all have the capacity to use those gifts if we give them time, effort and attention.

They probably don’t sell their soul indeed. Generally though, as I see it, newcomers who ask on how to sell their soul arrive with the common misconception that one needs to sell his soul to Satan or a similar entity to use magic, since magic usage is in the common narrative associated with being a demonic practice, fiction likes to overemphasize that aspect of selling one’s soul to use magic or become a great musician or artist, etc. Of course, this is not the case in real-life.
As for the ‘Illuminati’ being ‘fake satanists’ I don’t know. Assuming they even refer to themselves as that name, there’s no way to confirm what they do or don’t do unless one belongs to that inner circle, and personally I don’t so I can’t really assert much. Most of the literature surrounding them does not come from insiders but ‘investigators’, grifters, or low-grade self-proclaimed ‘freemasons’.
