Indeed, if you want to practice, get at least a book about Goetia. The only thing I was doing until I can afford to get some (very) basic books was to research around the internet (there are some extremely wrong info’s out there though). And when I wanted to get closer to the Spirits, then some meditation is perfect. But, that’s just me, I don’t jump right in If I don’t make sure I have an understanding on basics.

Of course there are LARPers here, there are liars, there are people who have mental illness, there are trollers, and combinations of all 4. When I see posts that fall into those categories I just scroll past. This is a public online forum, so just like any there will be those types who are attracted to it. I will say that this forum probably has the least of any I’ve seen thankfully.

The occult attracts a lot of people who are out of the box thinkers however unfortunately many of said individuals spend too much time out of the box.
Enjoy the forum while it’s up. Soon the liberals will come after us saying what we do isn’t real and therefore we won’t be allowed to talk openly about any of this.
They will claim that it spreads delusion, is offensive to atheists etc and they will shut us down. After what has been happening to people like Alex Jones it’s fairly safe to say free speech is dead and it’s not about if they will stop us from “spreading delusion” it’s when will they stop us from spreading delusion.

other people’s experience was something i was pulled by…some had great experience while some were cursing the very day they wanted to evoke spirits of Goetia (I never use “demons” for these happy bunch).
That was something which bugged me-a sa true Capricorn i do try to see it from inside.
There are monsters with pretty faces and there are angels with scarry faces.

Yea, I don’t always check other people’s experience first, I don’t want to get influenced by what they experienced. I prefer to check that after I’ve experience it myself. I prefer to do a research on the working system, history and myths before I summon anything. For example, I won’t copy/paste anything I see on the internet, I still use the same spells I used before i join the occult but I’ve modified them with the new knowledge I get from this path. And I totally use the word Demon, the meaning isn’t something bad after all.

Greek origin was spot on but say that word today and in +90% cases there will be a negative conotation attached to it 
2000 years of indoctrination is hard to erase from collective memory.
I wanna hear bad and good experience…we all learn on this or that way…hoping for good but prepared for "what if … "

I usually talk to a few, privately. It’s better, people are more comfortable to say many things, and there is less reason to “bullshit”, to be the center of attention.

I refuse to give away my power by thinking this way.
It’s all about manipulating to get what you want. Was telling another here about Etsy’s crap against none Christian Tarot readers.
They claim its not okay to sell because there are no physical goods being exchanged so what readers are doing is finding creative ways to give written information about the reading to their clients. One uses postcards with beautiful illustrations and others send pdfs or have items they sell on the side.
You got to push in their weak points and use their ignorance as your power until you can bring them crumbling to the ground.

And while I still maintain that my position was sound on this, there is not one way that line of thinking did me, personally, any good. As long as I do what I need to do, there is really no need to give a damn what anyone else does or pretends to do, unless it is against me and my interests.

LARPERs and lunatics on the forum do not effect me. It could even be argued that they are doing the rest of us a favor. The more out in left field people perceive what we do as, the less likely it is that anyone will ever take it seriously enough in a developed nation to impose laws against it. In other words, it facilitates magickians getting away with some wild shit with no fear of legal action. I’ll take it.
Hindsight being 20/20, if I had been more clear headed at the time I wrote that rant, I would not have written it in the first place and would have used that time and energy for meditation, reading, chanting, etc. All infinitely more personally beneficial ways to spend my time.

Please keep one thing in mind. See through people. Some people make things up to belong to something and they are very welcome. They are not trolls or liars, they try to be part.
I’ve noticed there are some really nice people trying to be part and heck they learn a bit too. Maybe they will grow and eventually get there.
And yes you have the trolls and liars, well eventually they will be kicked off.

I believe some exaggerate, straight up lie, and/or some are telling the truth, but others may be too arrogant to believe. Simple. All moments are annoying, but it’s best to eye roll and move on.

I personally am endlessly amused by the people who are utilizing demonic energies in order to do over the top love spells. I don’t know if amused would be the right word, more like dismayed.
