Years ago, I was in a group where we participated in an exercise where we had to take our prayers (petitions) and put them in a shredder. Then we mixed the shredded pieces with potting soil and flower seeds. So, the idea is as the plant grows, your prayer is being answered.
Is it both symbolic and cheesy, I know? The paper decomposes and becomes part of the soil and food for the plant. The element of Earth doing its work as part of the natural cycle.

Basically, the idea is to transfer the physical paper with the request to the spiritual. This is generally done by breaking it down in some way, but how you choose to do that is really up to you. The elements have often been seen as gateways to the spiritual realms so in offering your paper to the fire, water, earth or air, you are transferring its essence to the spiritual forces that will fulfill it.
Hi all, considering that this spell Is so simple. How could we be sure that our petition isn’t be taken by an impostor ???
I’ve tried this twice, once I petitioned Amon and Dantallion (yeah, together), but nothing happened.
I also petitioned Bune, for the amount of 2000 to be received in a month (I’m pretty sure that time is up, nothing happened) I didn’t burn or dispose of the papers, was that my mistake? Both petitions are lying around the house somewhere.
Do you guys think I should try again?

All I can say is try again. Today (Jan 6), there is a full moon. Full moons and New Moons are good times to burn petitions. Of course, petitions can be made at any time.
Also, I would recommend that you give your request some more time. There may be reasons that you aren’t aware of why things didn’t manifest. Was your petition clearly and specifically worded? Try petitioning different spirits that do the same thing. Maybe Nitika or Mammon instead of Bune, for instance.
Do you have a definite way (means) of receiving 2000 dollars? Work? Does someone owe you? Do you have a business or “side hustle”? A generous friend or relative? A lawsuit?
These are things to take into consideration.
I just had a big brain idea. I can use the law of assumption with this. I could do a petition and assume it’s going to come, that way there wouldn’t be any chance of it not happening
Exactly. Same base concept arising from a different current with different language, but the underlying principles are the same. Call it whatever you need to to get in the right space and the energy flowing right.
for sure, I’ve been thinking but everything seems to be correlated with “belief”. Because in every religion they have a miracle, which can be prove only by the concept that they believed so it happened. Same thing with magick here, its just belief taking different forms from what I see.
If you swap out the word belief for energy then I agree. Energy is the generic as belief us also energy, but doesn’t do anything without a bit more substance to work on.
These can usually be explained under multiple spiritual/philosophical worldviews. An example is the relationship between reports of devas, fae, demons and aliens. Different belefs but sometimes the same phenomenon.
Another e.g., is Farsight just remote viewed the legend of Fatima, providing a real world proposal for the phenomenon. It’s a miracle, but miracles are real. It’s not the miracles problem that humans don’t know how it works 
Is it recommended as a beginner to write a petition to an entity you haven’t worked before or don’t really have a bond with or is it better to throw it out to the Universe as with sigil magick?
That’s fine. Petition spells are good for those without developed senses, who are usually newer to the occult, and haven’t had something like, an altar, for a long time that would build the relationship otherwise.
You can use either a petition or sigil work, it’s really up to you and your comfort level. The more you do the more you can, just start with something and build experience in baby steps.
@DarkestKnight Wow i haven’t been here in ages but I did this petition yesterday, asking Lucifer for $100 within 24hrs and well today just before 24hrs were done, i didn’t get $100 but a practical idea popped into my mind randomly that will actually saves me about $104 so essentially freeing up that amount from my finances. It’s a very practical idea which for some reason i never thought of before today. Would you call this a success for the petition or random? I don’t really believe in coincidences tbh.

No, such vices would not interfere.
It would depend on the spirit being petitioned. Some might dislike it, and some might not care.

Hi, I know you wrote this awhile ago but I was wondering what your best recommendation is to do a powerful breakup petition/spell would be for a long distance stubborn target who is involved with someone else? Do circumstances matter , do I need to explain in great detail why I’m doing this, wanting them to breakup, all the specifics as much as possible or do the demons not care about that at all? Do they judge my morality on the reasons?
Also as I’m a complete beginner I wonder if my fear is holding me back. I did a love spell with Astarte, even tried to call up Amon but part of me was in fear, I was afraid of them and actually wondering if I’d feel a demonic presence. I tried my best to push through though but do you know if the fear is what can prevent the spells from working? I wanted to send an internal message to them to apologize saying I am trying my best and I don’t mean to fear them but I hope they can still help me. Not sure what to do for that one and how to get past my fear. There is no need for a photo with a petition. As long as you have the proper intent when you write it, the spirit will have no issue finding the right person.
