But you’ve been fine so far, and if you’re at THE top university you are perfectly capable of managing your communication filters to speak appropriately to an international audience of all ages using good English. 
General life hack: You might want to consider how you come across for your own sake - any lack of good grammar, punctuation, use of jargon/slang only reflects poorly on you, and you may not get the regard you deserve, and your posts may be ignored more often if people judge you negatively for poor communication. Don’t forget, your content is the ONLY thing people have to go on to estimate your quality as a mage and as a fellow forum member.
People who are foreign speakers have an excuse, but you speak English very fluently, and do not. Please be considerate of our non-English speakers, who have to paste your text into a translator to even read it as well.

gets! english is actually my second language, so i do put some posts into a translator. if i dont use slang, then its a post i put in hahaha. although what i do is i only input the posts of other people into a translator usually!
