That moment when I have a light day of paranoia 
I see some strange guy in a group all of a sudden walk up to me in a cafe and ask if he could use the adjacent table to plug in and charge his cellphone. Then shortly after he disappears with the group out the Cafe entrance for like a half 15-20 minutes, and then reappears sitting at some table with a Laptop acting casual. Interesting musings out of a Spy Craft scenario thinking of what Tech he would be running and then of course the whole motive behind this ongoing Ops (jots down notes for a short story ideas)âŚ

Did he ever come back for his cellphone?
Were there not enough charging ports or somethinâ? Like he had to charge his laptop and cellphone, but his table had one port and he couldnât charge his phone with his laptop?

⌠I think paranoia is the wrong word for it. Being alert is more suitable. No I just keep my eyes open for anything that might look remotely suspicious⌠i.e. if it was potentially a device placed to surf the wireless waves âsniffingâ for information or whatever⌠some Pegasus brande spy (shrugs).

I think situational awareness is a skill most people arenât used to thinking about, and some could have avoided trouble if theyâd had more of it. Iâm not and I know itâs a think, understand the utility and itâs just not a habit. But itâs a good one to cultivate. Doesnât have to be Bourne Identity levels of detail to be helpful.
I know former military guys that have it so ingrained they wonât even sit in restaurants with their back to the door, they hover and watch everybodyâs backs knowing theyâre not doing it. One says he âjust likes people-watchingâ to play it down and make it non-threatening.
