Spirit offerings and parasites

I want to give offerings to some goetia spirits but i also want to protect myself and home from attracting parasite spirits whom pretend to be those deities

Any advice on giving offerings and protecting at same time?

Do a banishing before, or just put the seal of the entity under the offering. Alternatively you can write the name of the entity or the seal in a candle and put it next to the offering

Maybe try including a protective entity in your lineup, and make the offering to them asking them to protect you.

I would say it’s worth the effort though, to set up protections whole-heartedly and give them full attention and energy - better safe than sorry.

Would a bowl of salt or circle of salt around the offerings and possibly black tourmaline or obsidian on the alter keep out parasites?

No, because the one you want to keep parasites away from is YOU, not the offerings.

Put up wards around your house or at least where you sleep, and put up personal shields, then with that base in place, banish any unwanted entities from the space before you start.

Think of it like this:

  • WARD: You have a fence, walls and doors you can lock to keep out random people from just walking into your house and messing with you and your stuff right? do the same with the unseen.
  • SHIELD: You have clothes and outerwear to protect yourself from the elements, you take vitamins )maybe) to help protect against bugs - do the same with shields for magick.
  • BANISH/CLEANSE THE SPACE: You clean your kitchen surfaces before cooking so you don’t contaminate your food, - do the same with your magickal working space so it stays clean and uncontaminated.
  • BANISH/CLEANSE YOURSELF: You shower/bather to clean yourself so you don’t get sick from being dirty. Do the same with your magick.

Put this way, you can see why good spiritual hygiene is normal and important. Don’t be dirty and skip it because you will only hurt yourself.

It costs almost no effort to do this work AND is good practice that improves your magick overall, there’s every reason to do it properly.
