Legit seal of Azazel ( vk jehennum)

This is actually a seal of Saturn from Agrippa I believe or some other old grimoire.

According to vk jehennum this is actually the proper seal

Obviously with intention you could probably still contact Azazel with the wrong seal but it’s probably much easier with the correct one.

I’ve been wondering about this. Do you know where / how it got assigned to Azazel?

My belief is vk got this from demonaltry related materials.

I was wondering more about how a seal of Saturn got assigned to Azazel in the first place. I’ve never interacted with Azazel so I have no idea about their energy, but I found it curious.

It actually is curious and what’s more curious is I was just checking out Enoch petrucellys Facebook and he is employing the first sigil the one of Saturn as his Azazels sigil.

So there doesn’t appear to be consensus on this.

It seems that’s the seal of “Zazel”, and this was mistaken for another name of Azazel.

Yeah VK used to have a video on is old account where he used the seal of a different entity to contact another one, he got the right entity he intended to get, and he didn’t even notice the sigil until afterwards.

Personally, I use the Saturn sigil and it’s been working fine for years, and I’m the “if it ain’t broke don;t fix it” type.

You also have to consider the weight of belief in the collective unconscious that knows the Saturn version contacts Azazel, vs the less well known sigil that doesn’t have as much recognition to lean on magically.

@Mulberry yeah I’ve heard of magicians doing experiments like that before and still being able to get the proper entity they wanted. Interesting how intention and the links between the spirits and are thoughts are rolled together.

Yes, I think i’s where the phone number analogy breaks down. Sigils are a bit of a crutch. You can write a dot on paper and it would work for all of them, or not write anything. People enjoy sigils but they’re really optional. They’re not actually a real link in a solid way to anything other than belief.

You know the other day when I evoked president camio I noticed my seal missed a few lines and wasn’t technically correct. I was still able to evoke him anyway though. Yes I think you’re right.

Yeah… If sigils created by starting from spirit names may be as effective as e. g. those from Goetia, then theoretically just the name of an entity could be directly used.

@fapa79 you’re right. Actually alot of magicians don’t know that spirit enns chanting isn’t a requirement either. Just repeating and vibrating the name of the spirit will serve the same purpose.

The question is why in case of some witches the sensibility towards a chanelled seal is so different and why some people can work or not with it… Is that a Vibration thing, an aura related issue or what?! Is it about spiritual groups? There is in this forum a very nice sigil of Azazel but probably @DarkestKnight knows where is it, the threads are from some years ago.

Are you talking about EA’s Gatekeeper sigils? (I don’t know if that’s what they are, I just call them that. They were originally posted to the forum by EA long before the books were released).

Lord Azazel responds correctly with the first one. I know first handed that he does
