King Belial - Fallen Angel Or Demon?

Not a fallen angel, a demon

No I’m sorry you’re feeling incorrect. He was created second after Lucifer. This info is very clearly listed in his attributions in the lemegetton. Plz don’t tell me that it’s your UPG that he’s a demon. Thx

Yes he fell after Lucifer, but he’s a demon, I’ve experienced his energy very closely

Then you’re contradicting yourself.
Ok this is still a fallen angel bro, let’s distinguish him from a pure bred ā€œdemonā€ like Sitri. He’s a Born and bred demon.

Yes I’ve experienced his energy"closely" too I’ve summoned him personally and worked with him.

Just because a being fell, doesn’t mean they remain fallen angels, some become demons

Alright man I’ve gone as far on this with you as I’m gonna go. We can just agree to disagree. We’re getting off topic. If you’re hell bent on asserting that belial had magickally morphed from a very powerful and popular fallen angel into a demon then let’s split the thread and we’ll leave this to our peers to review and discuss, fair enough?

No problem, I like discussing

ā€œThe 68th spirit is called Belial , he is a mighty king and powerfull; he was Created next after Lucifer, & is of his order; he appeareth in ye forme of a Beautiful angel sitting in a Charriot of fire, speaking wth a comly voice, declaring that he fell first & amongst ye worthier & wiser sort wch went before Michael & other heavenly angels; his office is to distribute preferments of senatorships, and to cause favour of friends & foes, he giveth Excellent familiars & governeth 80 Legions of spirits. Note this kink [! king] Belial must have offerings sacrafices & gifts presented to him, by ye Exorcist or else he will not give True answares to his demands; But then he Tarryeth [will tarry] not one hour in ye truth except [unless] he be constrained by devine power & his seal is Thus wch is to be worne as a Lamin, before ye Exorcist &c.ā€

says from the lesser key of solomon if it were true then he’s a fallen angel first. they are considered variant of demons if they rebel against god following satan. so they are still fallen angels. It’s just a terminology thing. origin is that he’s an angel. don’t get so hung up on it. your blood pressure might rise.

Thank you wisepup for providing the source material I drew my statement from. I appreciate that you did that. I was too tired last night to mess with it.

Now we all know that King Belial is infact a fallen angel and we can move on.

for me, it don’t matter. i am open to working with both demons/angels/ other entity or whatever race. the goal results is more important than what race they are. i’m not racist. lol

I totally agree with you. For me the academia needs to be respected and we can’t just speak to others as if our upgs are always facts. Especially when they directly contradict the source materials we draw from.

It also depends on the caster. some don’t want to work with fallen angels but pure angels. :man_shrugging: satan/ lucifer is a fallen angel but majority of people see them as demons. can we say they are still angels ? that’s for individual to decide. angels, demons might just be a rank system. After all we come from the same source creator. of which can’t be proven. lol. but it’s a great story.

Well that’s true my man but the OP didn’t distinguish that. I agree with you though it’s going to come down to what your most comfortable with.

If I were to guess the OP will probably be best suited to calling Opfaal. As @DarkestKnight recommend.

I only threw King Belials hat into the ring so we’d have Abit if colorful diversity.

Well hold on…king Belial isn’t the same as Prince Sitri for example. Prince Sitri is a born bred incubus demon of the Infernal race. King Belial is a fallen angel. Those two things are not one in the same. Please understand that.

But I don’t want to wander off into this again because we’re going off topic. If your interested we could split the thread and discuss or debate this in a new thread I’m down for that if you want.

If a demon isn’t a fallen angel then what is it? Entity born from two fallen angels? … I’m still a bit conflicted to conduct this summoning of entity as I was raised in a Catholic background, I still tend to think that demons would wish to do us harm in some ways … After all, they rebelled against our creator by jalouesy to humankind ? I know there are other gnostic views on that matter and I’m busy reading about it , but I’m a bit surprised that books don’t systematically dive into this topic. It seems important to me, especially for beginners

One reason I’d like to make the distinction between types of entities is take the case of angel Asrael. The angel of death. He was a fallen angel for a time but found his way back to a state of grace and now adds glory to the thrones.
On the other had for Prince Sitri as in our previous example he’s not going to morph into a fallen angel. Hes a true demon.

Take into consideration there’s different kinds of demons too. Goetic demons, abramelin demons, qlipoth demons ect.

I’m going to request a new thread be started on this subject.

@Lady_Eva can we please have a thread split to discuss what a demon actually is I don’t want to go veer off the OP topic anymore.

Neither, he’s a god of the Sumerians and existed thousands of years before the JCI religions were invented. As well you know having been on the thread where this was discussed, including the one where the ruins of his Temples were posted.

They have a nasty habit if demonizing pagan gods, as part of psychological warfare on the peoples they conquered, they call it ā€˜evangelisism’.

To be honest, calling him either if thee is perpetuating the insult. Not that he gives a flying fuck.
Being a god and not a demon gives him a bigger perspective.

Thanks @Lady_Eva for splitting the thread.

King Belial , Also Belhor, Baalial, Beliar, Beliall, Beliel) is listed as the sixty-eighth spirit of The Lesser Key of Solomon. He is a King of Hell with 80 legions of demons, and 50 legions of spirits, under his command. He was created as the first, after Lucifer.[6] He has the power to distribute senatorships and gives excellent familiars. He must be presented with offerings, sacrifices and gifts, or else he will not give true answers to demands.[6]

According to the lemegetton he’s a Fallen Angel.
@Mulberry I’m not saying you’re wrong and frankly I wouldn’t be at all surprised if you were right :+1:I’m merely showing where I’m coming from on this.
Thanks for adding your view to the discussion.

*you’re? ā€œyou areā€ = you’re.

Why are you quoting at me from Goetia that’s a JCI book only a couple hundred years old when I just told you where to find the original that’s pre-Greco-Roman and maybe 4k years old?
