Introduce Yourself To Members Of The Forum

I prefer to go by Magus. My real name is not relevant.
Sorry, no photos. I can’t risk being identified.
This is gonna sound weird but I come from a scientific background with a career in, well, I don’t think I’m at liberty to disclose. I’ve started to dabble with magick when I’ve hit rock bottom of mental fortitude. Someone most unexpected has saved my life, literally pulling me away from the edge of the window. To my utmost surprise, my tarot deck has never lied about the past, present and future despite having only the major arcana, and this is just a couple months. Friend of mine recommended me some rituals and stores where I can get supplies, so I’m slowly making progress, as much as my secrecy permits. He even advised me on my first ritual and it seemed to have worked.
My current goal is to build experience and prepare for the ultimate showdown of good over evil, whichever that may be in this season of my life. Right now, I’m building experience to help someone abandon the path of evil. Edit: before my words get taken out of context I’d like to let it be known that I’m a pacifist.
I’m a slow reader. Guess that’s only struggle.

Thank you for doing an introduction as requested @maguszeal

What, exactly, do you practice, and how long have you practiced it?

Do you follow any specific system or tradition?

What, exactly, do you practice, and how long have you practiced it?

  • tarot readings for 4 months with a deck that only has the major arcana
  • a single ritual of fortifying romantic relationships; the ritual itself took 7 weeks to perform

I also have the option of visiting a local gypsy settlement to look for pointers. My friend has told me they might know a thing or two. But he warned me they may know how to curse someone efficiently, so I should never make them unhappy with my visits.

Do you follow any specific system or tradition?

None just yet. With regards to my tarot readings, I can describe how I prepared my deck once unboxed, and how I prepare the deck for each reading.

Initializing the deck:

  1. Close eyes.
  2. Hold the deck in one hand, such that the back of the cards are facing upwards.
  3. Split the deck into 2 halves which may or may not be equal - I cannot see, and I dare not count the cards to be equal, I put my trust that the deck plays along.
  4. Reverse the order of cards in each half of the deck.
  5. Merge the halves like a pro card dealer does at a casino.
  6. Repeat steps 3-5 three times and it is done.

Reading:

  1. Let the person who asks the question hold the deck with backs of the cards facing upwards.
  2. Let the person who asks the question concentrate on what they want to ask the cards by any means necessary. They must achieve a state of mind where their query is well defined, well thought out, and there is nothing else on their mind.
  3. Let go of the cards, and pass them to me. I shuffle the cards the same way as I would initialize the deck from the unboxed state, except the shuffling is done once.
  4. Before I present a fan of cards on the table, I ask, should the deck face me, or them when they draw the cards. It has an effect on the answers.
  5. The fan is presented and now they choose 3 cards - 1 to represent past, present, and future. My interpretations of the cards come from Learn the Tarot Card Meanings | Biddy Tarot
  6. After the past, present and future are interpreted, I offer to reveal alternate timelines - they are the 2 cards that are the neighbours of their future card. These are possible futures that may materialize instead of the one they have chosen.

For a while I had a steady lot of people who came to me for readings, but we found out that the readings would never make a mistake in predicting the future and making an assessment of the past and present. We all found it to be a little creepy and some people have stated they’re legitimately scared of asking me for readings just in case the cards predict a disaster or misfortune in their future.

Thank you for elucidating more upon your experience, and again, welcome to the BALg forum.

Yeah I do practice hinduism, well I belong to brahmin family(hindu religion), sorry I wasn’t around for so many days that’s why late reply.

Hi I’m here so making an intro post. My name is CJ and I’m into black magick. I was into it when I was much younger but stopped for awhile. I am now getting back into it due to needing guidance and protection.
My goals is to form a relationship with glasya labolas and Marchosias. My struggles is trying to learn all about 72 goetic demons as I am new to those type of demons. I’m not much of a intro person or talking about myself but if you have any questions for me,fire away

How long did your practice and what system of magick did you practice?

How old are you and where are you from?

Hi, I started when I was 13 and stopped around 18. I was young and this was before the internet was everywhere, so I self taught a lot of things which unfortunately also means I didn’t know a lot either. However, I dealt with Lucifer often and also other demons, although I did not know their names. I am from the UK and I’m 39 now, so it has definitely been a long time. I continue to dowse throughout all this time to communicate, but no rituals since I was 18ish

This doesn’t meet our requirements for a proper introduction and doesn’t tell us much about yourself.

Where are you from?

How old are you?

How long have you been practicing?

If you have previously practiced what system did you follow?

If not what are you interested in?

im in my early twenties. i havent truly ever practiced properly. it’s like an on and off thing for me. ive invoked some spirits. some goetic ones.
the reason i cant practice properly is also cause of lack of knowledge and having to hide my practices.

ive always had weird things happen to me. visions of all sorts that later on make so much sense. they just come true. spiritual encounters with beings. all sorts of dreams. etc

Hi, i prefer not to give my personal info, for now at least. It wasnt an obligation when i read forum rules.
Yes, i have many practical and psychic experinces. It became an everyday routin like eating, sleeping. Thats why i didnt tell much. But if you wonder something special, you can ask me in details.
Im interested in Gallery of Magick, Power of Magick, Israel Regardie, Franz Bardon books etc. Im still learning.

We ask, as part of a proper introduction, for a general idea of how long someone has practiced, and what they practice, rather than something vague like “I’ve had many experiences” which doesn’t provide any actual information, because it helps us to provide appropriate advice and direction, as well as evaluate any advice one may choose to offer.

Have you generally felt that you get results from the magick you do, and are there any areas where you feel strongest, or like you want to develop more?
