I am Søro Nelson, and I come from America and I live in Utah. There have always been paranormal things happening in my family, like poltergeists that would move things around and other strange things. I don’t do any magic, but I found this forum while trying to figure out what was going on in my family’s life. I’m newer here, and I came to learn. I don’t currently do any Magick or spells, since I’m uncertain that I even could with the little knowledge I have from this site and others. I don’t have any traditions in magick because I haven’t found what I like more than others. I really don’t have any practical experience in magick, but my family has always talked about their experiences so I’ve heard of magick, just not done it. I have not been practicing magick, I’d prefer to research before I go off to do spells that I might not be able to reverse.

Hello. For privacy, I will go by the name Zelda in this forum. I have been reading books on magick for 6 or 7 years, mostly GOM. I am interested in the left handed path, I am not afraid of demons anymore, but angels and saints fascinate me because I grew up in a very strict religious household. I live in Michigan, United States.
I have tried Word of Power, and some rituals from the 72 angels of magick. I didnt keep a journal so i don’t remember it all. I got very ill in 2020 and didnt do anything for a while. I have recently, in the past year, taken more of an interest. I would love to learn more about the left handed path and demons. But I do love learning about angels too.

I’ve been practicing the basics, like focus and visualization, and right now, my main challenge is maintaining consistent focus and improving my visualization. My ultimate goal is internal mastery and self transformation.

heyo I’m Lucci- I’m a polytheistic pagan with a broad occult belief structure (Norse, hoodoo, Christianity, Kabbalah, Solomonic etc et al) and and always more to learn who has practiced divination in lots of forms (runes, tarot, dowsing, stichomancy…) for many years. I live in New England.
I’ve been studying occultism most of my life as a self directed person, albeit much more superficially than I would’ve liked in retrospect, and I’m in my mid 30’s. I identify with mysticism.

That didn’t answer the question. By “practice” I mean actually performing magick from any tradition or current. Not studying as much as putting that to work?
Practicing energy work such as kundalini yoga or the middle pillar etc that are not directly using magick for external but internal purposes also count. Shamanic journeying counts… making talismans counts… anything like that to date?
I WISH most people did that but they don’t. Sometimes they post the horror stories on this form about what happened when they didn’t.

I’m not sure why you say this - This is a religious philosophy not practical magick, you can be any kind of theist and never touch magick. It not not related to chaos magick - do you mean the Austin Osman Spare kind?
Really? It’s a simple question, I don’t know why “how long have you been practicing” is difficult here? A ballpark number of years would be fine.
