I have been deeply drawn to the occult (most specifically Western Hermeticism, Kabbalah, Thelema and Heka) for over 4 decades. I am an Aussie, 50 years old. Divorced and retired on disability.
Crowley defined Magick as;- “The science and art of causing change to occur in conformity with WILL.” And went on to state that EVERY act of WILL is a magickal act. I can find no fault with this rationale.
I am primarily focused upon the “Greater Work” magick. With some applied Theurgy and thaumaturgy. I see the BALG and the Great work as concordant. I keep my own covenant and look forward to meeting some bright and beautiful souls on a shared journey and adventure.
I am 27 year old Sigma woman it’s my personality archetype. I’ve been practicing the left hand path or spirituality for years and I’m in my late 20s. I have more experience with doing inner work and shadow work, spell work, ritual work, and meditations with spirits. The reason to practice and follow this path because I want to follow my own path and do what makes me happy.
Some things you should know about me is I have a disability, and mental illness I take meds for my mental illness, so please be gentle and kind to me. Just so you know I am also an empath and sun in Libra with moon and rising in Scorpio and I very much relate being a Scorpio moon and rising because I see the darker things in life than finer things in life.

Hello sorry for not putting my introduction in the right spot lol but as before my names James and from Ohio United States. I’m still learning from scratch about magic and the occult. I’ve grown up in a adopted family whose strict Lutheran family that structured around the church and faith. I went to bible school every Sunday from preschool till I was 24 when I was sent to a group home for people with disabilities. I was born with vision problem lung problems ADHD and a learning problem with mild mental retardation. I’m drawn to all sorts of magic so I want to get into one at a time but it could get overwhelming with it at times so it’s a learning curve. I practice American folk magic, but not any particular one. This magic is rooted in nature, so it involves working with plant energies and spirits (some who once lived on Earth, but other spirits as well). I have had to learn on my own and try to learn from what works and why, and what doesn’t work and why not.

I have not had much experience yet I would say I’ve been practicing for couple of months although I’m still reading and learning and haven’t done many rituals except for two which I believe did not work.
I’m still new in the game I would anything King Solomon involved. Qabbalah and probably Islamic Magick.
Recently my dreams are quite really complicated and absurd but I feel something is trying to talk to me and synchronity or when I think or want something to happen without even saying it out loud sometimes it happens and because it sometimes happens and sometimes it doesn’t I come to believe they are just randomness alsoo some signs in the material world I try to believe they are merely coincidence.
I just want to become a better person. A true living God.

In the Apocrypha, the Book of Tobit features the Archangel Raphael, tending to a young man named Tobit that had been bothered by Asmodeus, if I recall correctly, or it may have been Azazel. The Archdemons by the command from Yahovah was bound facedown at the bottom of the red Sea. There was a particular fish only found in the red Sea. They caught such a fish and walked around Tobits house with the fish burnt to drive Asmodeus out of the house and therefore driving out the spirit of Lust.
