Open a circle, summon the entity and tell it you’re making this device to work with it and for it to give you it’s energy, blessing etc. Then when the carving us done hold it up, sy “And so it is done” and close out the circle as normal.

You won’t know which answer is right. You have to be ok with uncertainly until you get more info or you get verification over time.
Taking in energy in a vampiric way is the same thing as catching a cold.Taking energy can be different on other planes of existence. A example is 4D you use thoughts to access certain recordings of thoughts or day to day life. Taking energy in 3D is more of a visualization and feeling the energy surround and flow into your energetic field.
What I see when I try to access this river of Nyx is a white and black picture.The mooning being white and bright lighting up the sky along with it. While the water being black with mountains reaching up to the sky mountains also look black like the water.
Reasons nyx wont let people in is because this is the only existence where she is trapped inside of the moon. She gets her energy from the water below the moon. So people coming here to take energy is disrespectful. If I did happen the waters will become dry etc.
