Hello, I’m asking regarding the Gallery of Magic 72 Angels book. I go into it with all sincere intentions but I cannot get my mind to embrace the methods. And when I do finish a day ( I can only get one day done, can’t do 11) I just feel “flat"or “blah”. Completely unmotivated to continue. Like it feels so mentally busy. I am wondering if this has happened to anyone else or it’s just me and the Gallery of Magic methods. I was reading the Financial Transformation book and was considering starting it after more research into reviews but hesitant it may feel too much like the Angels book.
I admit I have been struggling with a massive amount of financial anxiety and depression the past year over finances and also wondering if this has messed up my magic.

So, you tried, you read it through, and the need to do the 11 day master Ritual is offputtingly long? It is not so much maybe that the Gallery of Magic 72 Angels book just doesn’t jive with your energy, you haven’t the impetus to put that level of effort in?
That’s unfortunate, because I have noticed in magick, the more you put in of your energy, taking the time to do it, the more you get out of it.
I think I saw @DarkestKnight mention somewhere you don’t have to do the master ritual, but it works better if you do - he will correct me if I just called his name in vain
GOM do have different authors and the books have different techniques, so I don’t think it’s a publisher-wise issue. None of the other GOM books I have (tho I only have like 3) have this 11 day effort going on.
On he other hand I have done 90 day, 72 day and 33 day rituals when working with specific entities that guided me to do that, the learning and practice you get is worth half a year of occasional dabbling, so I maybe later if your life circumstances allow you could reconsider it’s value to you.
There’s a thread talking about the Financial Transformation book over here: Financial Transformation Magick - initial thoughts on new book … so maybe read through that and see it it helps you get a feel for it. My expectation is that if you’re drawn to that book, it’s a valid step on your journey and worth trying.
What are you expecting to feel? The author says directly in the book that some people won’t feel anything at all. Magick works best if you can approach it with a feeling of wonder and awe, like a child, but some magick is simply plug and play, where you just go through the motions and still reap results regardless of how you feel.
The Gallery of Magick has refined their methods since the 72 Angels of Magick book was released. Financial Transformation is their newest, and it is not as ceremonial as 72 Angels, its rituals are a lot simpler, but they do still require an investment of time. Each ritual will take you probably about five minutes a day, for a certain number of days, but working through the whole book will require a year to complete. It is not designed for a quick fix. It’s a program for a complete financial overall, and is very similar to their Enochian Success Magick and Wealth Magick books.
You’re going to live for the next 11 days anyway, so why not use some of that time to work magick? You don’t have to always be enthused by it. Even people who like to exercise don’t always want to go to the gym after a long day at work but they go anyway. It’s discipline and how you grow.
If you need immediate money, I’d suggest looking at their book Magical Riches.
Edit to add: There is significance to the number of days.
For 72 Angels of Magick, the Master Ritual is the main ritual you perform. All you do is swap in the name of the specific angel you want to do. I think you might have been thinking of another book.
