What method did you tried? You tried just the spirit sigil and name, or did you use the seal of the house correspondent to the spirit too?

What I have tried so far is just the sigil and name, an approach I took after some discussion on the subject with folks in this forum.
I am still really unclear from the book on how the house specific seal is utilised in conjunction with the sigil. Also, the various āgatewayā seals and how they fit into the overall ritual process.
Its like the sigils, seals and āgatewaysā are components within the system, but what I am unclear on is how they are slotted together in ritual structure and procedure.
Not sure why, but this book and KoF, iāve had the same sort of issue with establishing the ritual structure. I know a lot of people find the procedures in these books very straightforward, but for some reason I donāt.
Maybe Iām just over thinking it all.

I am interested in this also. Instead of contact with the legions under Azazel, I am more interested in getting to know Azazel first. Maybe that is my assignment until June 1. I know he has drawn me back to this place for such a time as this.

Iām interested but just checked again that the ritual needs candles and coal? Not able to light things, unless someone has experience managing without
You can use a candle on your phone screen. You do want a manifestation base, but it doesnāt have to be smoke. It could be steam or dry ice for example.

This is one of the things im pondering how to get around. Smoke, incense, dry ice, any thing smokey or fumey isnāt really viable for me.
A small candle is fine, but as for the base, not sure how I might achieve that

I would actually say you donāt strictly need it. Evoking to presence happens first anyway, and if you can feel that, in my mind thatās all the confirmation you need.
Having said that seeing smoke change to an eye that changed direction and wafted over my head once for a Draātalon summoning was really cool and thereās definitely a feel good factor to getting a visual. It would clear all and any doubt if you had some. But thatās gravy imo.

Yeah, I was reading the ritual again and wondering if I was going to still be able to do this, if the people in the group need to follow the ritual exactly, because I canāt use any medium for the evocation part too.

Come to think of it - I just said on another thread that water and fire are the gateways to spirit, and that works here too - you can use a water bowl here to scry into for manifestation instead of smoke as well. Or a black mirror. Or a crystal ball - I have an obsidian sphere that I got for another book that I like but regluar quartz is fine too.

They just need a way to be seen. I think the water like @Mulberry said is great for anyone who canāt use fire, smoke etc. If you have to keep it from family etc, no one would think much of a glass of water or bowl of water.
