I’ve had the same experience with Andras. Only 1 ritual in total under belt, didn’t mean to do anything more than invite a wee bit of the Andras energy to empower my spell, but he showed up anyway.
I seriously thought I was about to die for a split second, the energy was so overpowering. I did learn a lot in a matter of minutes in terms of how to approach demons.

I really enjoyed the Duquette vid, thanks again for sharing. I ended up watching all the parts of the whole thing.
He also makes good points, just as dr. Skinner. He cleared up some questions about why you would call upon demons when muzzling them. Once again I do get why you would bind them. I also get a little better now why you would call on them in the first place if you can’t really deal with that energy. I guess I just have adifferent approach to the whole thing. More of an Aghori philosophy, if you will. I am aware that this takes a certain attunement or polarity and is not for everybody. I guess it also changes the way in which you can approach these kinds of entities and how they react to you.

Is any of that mitigated if you only petition them rather than call them fully?
I realize this was meant for Werb422, but since I was pinged I’ll just add, as DarkestKnight mentioned the Enochian system has the mitigations built-in, so you don’t need to worry about it.
For Goetic entities, I would say, no, include your caveats in your petition as well.

Oh! - nooo - the Enochian current by John Dee is it’s own thing. Completely different to kabbalah or Solomonic magick (which is where the Goetia comes from - it’s in one of the books that make up the Lesser Keys of Solomon, the Lemegeton I think).

I’ll clarify , how does one work with Enochian entities to affect our physical world? How do we do practical Enochian magick? What’s an example? Let’s say I want someone to fall in love with me for example.

In that book, Hargrove takes the entire Enochian system but condenses it down into practical simple rituals for various desire-fulfillments.

I am not very familiar with enochian magick. But from what little I picked up about it from works from or about John Dee and even from what I gathered from the little obscure book The Enochian World Of Aleister Crowly: Enochian Sex Magick.
Enochian Magick seems highly ceremonial and not really suited for “practical” magick targeted at material gains such as getting the girl you fancy.
I don’t even think it’s intended for those means, but I could be wrong.
I would personally rather turn to the more witchcrafty things like sigil, candle or knot spells etc. or petitioning spirits that are more suited for material gains than studying, planning and preparing for a ritual for weeks

But is it actually enochian magick as intended and developed by Kelly and Dee, or is it using angelic entities and energy rebranded under a modern use of the term Enochian?
I am slightly curious, but I’ll never know for sure because I have no intention of spending a lot of time and effort studying systems I am never going to use ;p
It is actual Enochian magick. Hargrove’s book uses sigils that were created from the Great Table and the Great Table is a major part of the Enochian system and is where the names of the Enochian angels and demons are derived from.
