I can’t say what exactly this deity is. But she said, that she is my mother. What does it mean? Can I trust the words of the deity? Is this metaphor or very direct meaning?
Be careful, sometimes negative entities manipulate you using your inner desires, needs… They make you feel special and bond with you by deceiving you and lying to you. This happens especially if you constantly feel lonely, sad, depressed or don’t feel appreciated in your life.
Don’t trust it. Cleanse and banish and work on your self.

I have to agree with @Zaanein here. An easy proof is to ask it to manifest something useful in your life, like help you with info, money or relationships, and it can’t - nothing happens, it may start gaslighting you about it and using some pretty basic human-like emotional abuse tactics. But its easier to just get rid of them and not waste the time.

Got you. Yeah, if it won’t go away on a simple ask or banishing, then it’s had it’s chance: burn it with fire before it lays eggs.
I also find this reduced the likelihood of others thinking they can have a go at you - they see what happens if they try you and stay away.

I won’t call it a parasite, my only suggestion is to stop diving into magical dreams by using drugs and stop thinking about the thoughts in your mind and thinking that the spirit is communicating with you.
Why do you think I use drugs? And why do you think that I don’t communicate with the spirit?

Spirits lie. Trust half of what you see, none of what you hear, and prove everything beyond the shadow of a doubt.

Well many deities are considered as mother goddess.
I don’t think it has to be taken as human sense… More like “i’m your matron” or “i was called mother so here i am.”
I say that in the case you don’t deal with a larvae or you projecting your own desire
