I decided to buy the Kindle version of one of his books last night. I loved it so I went ahead and bough 3 more.
I am absolutely in love with the hands on approach he has, everything is super well explained, very straight to the point and organised.
I was wondering if any of you has read his books and tried his rituals?
I used the method from the book “Demons of influence” to contact a demon (not from the book). His methods work

I talk about his Goetia Pathworking like a cracked record. It was my reference for how I pathworked the Goetia, and being in kindle makes it easy to search as a reference work.
“Demons of Wrath” and “The Magick of Influence” are two of his books. Which one did you mean because I couldn’t find “Demons of Influence”? I was interested to see which method you meant.

If I remember correctly in this book there are angels that help influence people as well. However you have to do the rituals at a specific time so I focused on the demons part only and kinda forgot the angels part

The method is really simple.
For the demons you need a circle of salt though and at the time I did not have the space to do that so I improvised and it worked 
I’m looking through it now, it looks pretty good and I thought it was a book using only Goetia but it’s not, so it’s pretty interesting indeed.
Tonight I burned a little hole in the carpet when a piece of my charcoal snapped off for my incense. I’m not happy with myself for that. I usually don’t have stupid accidents. I will welcome simpler rituals…

I didn’t buy it yet, but I value your opinion and wanted to ask if the sigils are a huge part of the process, because if so I will buy a physical Copy and if not I will purchase it on kindle.
I’ve read the book, haven’t studied properly but I’m pretty sure Corwin says you don’t need the sigils in paper form, digital ones is fine!
The sigils in the book are just the simple ones not big elaborate ones like in Gallery of Magick books, so the kindle book will work fine.

I’m a fan of sigil magik and use them a lot. I don’t think you need a physical copy, as you can open the sigil on screen and open it gazing at your phone.

With either of that last two, if I had the book I’d still draw the sigil - not just for the portability, but because the act of drawing it is for me part of the ritual itself, and is the beginning of connecting with the entity, when you do it in a meditative state with intention… I think Corwin covers this in his Goetia Pathworking as well, he gives full instructions on how to use the book:)
Yes I just bought and read it. Another question that I have is lets say you engage in the nofap movement are you enabled to skip the purification? (he doesn’t state it, I just want your guys opinion on that) Thanks for the response
I’m in a facebook group where people use Corwin Hargrove’s methods. They never abstain 3 days from sex when working any ritual and still report results.
I guess the abstain helps you build more energy for your workings but it can be omitted.
I think these are different things being used to different effect. There isn’t anything impure about wanking that makes you more pure if you abstain.
So in this case I would say, do the purification to the extent that your intuition guides you.
I personally don’t treat rituals like I’m going on a date - but I’m more of a low magik person than a ceremonial mage, I’m very interested in bringing contact into my life 24x7 rather then confining it to tiny windows of time.
Energetically, there’s a theory in Buddhism and Taoism, that since sperm carries life-essence, called jing in Chinese, if you release it you release a little bit of your essence, causing you to age faster.
Jing can be increased through cultivation though, and as mages we do docultivation in many forms to get the effect that has on increasing psychic abilities. So by and large I think it’s fine to fap, as long as the need is not controlling you, you’re controlling it, and you’re natural about it (not letting yourself get addicted to porn, basically).
Being Corwin a pretty damn practical magician, one that puts results above all fluff talk, I think that he MUST have very good reasons for have put this instruction.
He knew that many would not follow the instructions and even said that you can do the magick without following it. BUT, he advises that, if you’re not getting the results, so you should try doing the magick following it.
And there’s another point: without the abstinence, you still can obtain results, but you’ll never know what kind of results you’d get IF you had followed on the letter.
when males ejaculate they lose life force. Not only that, there is sometimes leakage of energy and it don’t close off from the activity. That zap man’s energy. You don’t have the same thing apply to females though and males project out and females absorb energy in when doing sex. For males, you won’t die however, you affect your health and get tired. You lose nutrients if you ejaculate. The solution with the chinese culture is to learn how to not ejaculate with sexual energy cultivation. Which isn’t easy to learn.
If energy is lost, it affect magick. Not as powerful too. Life force is powerful energy. And thats’ why it’s used for some of the magick as offering. Same with blood. Blood have life force too.
I love hargrove’s books. They are wonderful.
Did you do all the preparations? Not having sex for three days, skipping a meal, etc. I read the book but hasn’t worked with it yet. But I do like a lot the visionary magic method.
