Binding or strengthening the love for others into a long term healthy relationship

I’m trying something new for me, in using poppet bindings to cement two compatible people, already gf/bf, into a long lasting, lifetime relationship.

Problem is, love though I do, he’s got some narcissistic borderline and extremely histrionic traits, (meaning self-centered and oversexed) and a chronic cheater (intentionally and remorselessly), which she doesn’t know, (yet) so I also want to encourage him to only have eyes for her and not fuck this up.

And I want him gently moved out of my life, in the most beneficial way possible.
So my go-to “death curse everyyyythinnngggg!” is out

I want her to be tolerant, caring and in love, wanting to keep him around and have him move in even. She’s rich, capable and emotionally intelligent, and will be able to keep him stable and both of them happy.

I have dissolved our Earthy connection with this spell as much as seems practical at the moment, the spiritual connection is fine and I do not typically break spiritual connections, I call them “covenants”, which probably isn’t the right use of that word but it feels right, and I have to assume there’s more going on than my human gestalt is aware of that I don’t want to risk making mistakes with.

Now I’m designing a new spell to order. This involves a woman I don’t know, and comes with the usual caveats of “do your divination to avoid backlash”. I think I can use the past-life aspects in myself that align with the “intranquil spirit” and maybe move that energy into her, and poppet is a good tool for that.

Do you guys have any more ideas for the perfect matchmaker spell that takes two people already together and dial it up to 11 to help them fix their flaws, overcome anything together, need to be together like a married couple and go the distance?

Maybe a type of vampiric-esque thoughtform on her that keeps him infatuated with her without knowing why? It could feed off his infatuation and grow stronger, keeping him infatuated with her without knowing why/what in particular, and nothing tangible so the novelty wouldn’t wear off.

I’ve been a lazy fuck (kind of blocked but not fighting it), so I did bugger all, it’s been a month, but so far they’re not fading so I’ll get on this this weekend.

Ok I came up with the following, which combines 17th century love magick using knot work, aka a witches ladder, which is an implicit binding in my mind, and of course poppets, because that’s my jam. They’re together this weekend so this is perfect.

So this was the whole technique below, and I’ll feed back if things look good or if they eventually split and it failed, hopefully with an analysis of why. All the while my intention is focused and I’m playing gooey love songs from a handy-dandy yt playlist. The female is the focus, she has to forgive him his, ah, foibles, but he’ll very likely stay as loyalty is a value… just not sexually.

First I made a poppet of each person in the couple, and added links that were small pieces of paper with the names and something unique I know about them that describes them.
I infused that paper link with a 3 drops of "Stay With Me Oil I bought form our own BLAG member’s Belladonna’s Botanicals. I added a little lavender and rose petals in both to represent mutual benefit, love, soothing and healing.

For the love binding, I took red yarn, which I attached to her first, then made three knots, and attacked it to him saying “you are bound in love and happiness for the rest of this life, until death do you part.”

Get out of jail free card:
I’m adding an automatic binding break so when one dies the other will not pine. Or if this failed and I want to cancel it. This is represented by a green glass rod (from my glass bead making supplies) - green for healing, glass as it’s breakable, wound into the red yarn binding, to break the binding with if the rod is broken. After that I will burn the poppets to release them totally. Otherwise these will be kept in a box.

(I have a wicker chest with a few poppets in from workings that are still ongoing, I will have to start labeling them to remember which is which soon. )

The knotwork is the critical part of the working where the energy really has to move.
I didn’t like the original “spell” that relies on “magick words” but didn’t explain to you, you have to keep your visualization clear during. So, because I think random “magick words” is largely pretty silly, it won’t work for me - I break it with doubt out of the gate, but it doesn’t allow clear attachment to the energy, for me, this must have meaning. So I have edited the knot typing as follows:

1. Knot one: “You two are bound in mutual respect, attraction and love”
2. Knot two: “You two are bound in mutual benefit”
3. Knot three: “You two are bound in shared values and solidarity”

Finally the working is closed out with “And so it IS!” The poppets are wrapped in pink tissue paper and stored away.

So, hopefully the biding is kind of this ^ in in a feedback loop so it’s both of them. Bindings can be thought of as thoughforms, and as such will want to live and survive as any manifest thing does.

So I might have just made him big mad and that’s the price I have to pay. But he’s sort of like that so… gotta chill out here.

Poop overall it implies his girlfriend doesn’t have what it takes to hold him, magick be damned.
It’s a bit early to say though, I’m not going to naysay the working yet, and will exercise the Law of Assumption, assume I’m lusting for results and not worry about it.

No more card reading until next week, it’s not helping if I’m going to use it as an excuse to doubt my own working. Let the battle of wills with the Male Warrior commence
