Regarding titles:
Doesnāt titles, in some regards, limiting ourselves and the spirits we interact with? In my opinion, and through experience, I know it can limit growth and ascendance. Titles, myths, legends, fame and infamy. Thatās a lot of luggage on the shoulders.
Removing the titles is like starting from scratch. Thereās nothing from the past thatās limiting ourselves and the spirits weāre interacting with. Thereās nothing to be disappointed in. Thereās nothing to fear. Why not build something new, together with the spirits we have in our lives. Creating new stories, myths and legends without the reminiscence of the past?

Personally I have always found the title thing a bit odd to bestow on yourself if you expect others to refer to you by the same title. But besides that, meh. If it helps them affirm their beliefs and helps them connect to their power then great.
As for myself, never had one and never been given one, so I guess that makes be a bit biased on the matter since no spirits have given me a fancy title or magic name. Not that I am bitter or anything about itā¦

I have the name that I was given at birth by my parents, and then I have the name that I chose for myself. I feel that choosing a name for yourself is like a right of sovereignty.
I was meant to be ordained as a priest but I refused the title because I didnāt feel ready. Turns out my intuition was right because Iām no longer part of that particular path. I enjoyed my time and learned a lot but itās just not for me.
tbh all this fuss just makes me want to call myself King (Priest? Lol) of Thieves after my namesake. Maybe Iāll slap it in the bio for laughs.

Donāt worry youāre not alone, they never gave me one either. Iām unsure if its peopleās wishful thoughts or the spirits giving you flatters to make you fulfil their agendas. In any case, I donāt mind not having a title.

I donāt see a point either. You could be called by yourself or the spirits āgrand magusā or āking of the universeā and still not be able to put your own shit together. Instead of throwing useless titles left and right, better to focus on real magic.
