ANDRAS:The most dangerous demon in the Goetia?

I know this is a really old thread and many members are no longer here, but I have to ask anyone reading this with experience…I keep seeing people say that you should send Andras or direct him elsewhere, so how is that different than petitioning him to go after someone?

We welcome posts on old threads when you are adding to the conversation! There’s no expiry on a good discussion.
(It’s not helpful when people necropost to ask a long-gone member a basic question or to spell beg.)

I’m one of those having learned the hard way. I had read it somewhere and I can be a bit - “well, that’s you but is it true for me?” - this one was.

I mentioned it here but didn’t get into detail:

What actually happened, was I sent him against my ex who lived only a half mile down the road.
My drive was sloped, and by bad luck, my handbrake, which was find every other time, slipped, and the car rolled down the slope into the house, causing damage to car and house that costs a couple of thousand to fix.

So there’s two factors I think:

  1. Proximity of the working - if you’re in his whirlwind you can get hit by debris
  2. He’s just chaos personified anyway

I still work with him - I have since changed my technique to contain the chaotic energy better. I did this by:
a) intentionally employing the goetic double circle with the sigil. This was part of the working not before it, so it was drawn within a protective circle already - like an airlock.
b) I drew it in white chalkboard pen on a black dinner plate I got at the dollar store, with double circles surrounding it so that the energy of the sigil was essentially set into a portal. It could not escape into the room or my house.
c) I also send him only against targets that are many miles away, so there’s way less chance of blowback across the land.

So, dangerous yes, unworkable, no.
