A few tools that are useful to a magician at any level. Effective banishing. An unbreakable circle. An iron clad will. Knowledge of what to use at a given moment.
So, my experience with these are my will is as ironclad as a glass of water. My unbreakable circle senior magicians or even Junior magicians can cross in and out of my magic circle, without being harmed or obstructed.
What is your most effective banishing routine, what is your best magic circle practice? How do you train your will to be strengthened day after day after day to a point of it being unbreakable within a year?
If you are training yourself within Solomonic magic practices, these topics are essential to your survival. Many spirits will be offended, hostile, or even try to kill you, should they be able to cross across your circle and not be affected by your banishing or your will.
For me, this is a bit like asking an electrician what is his best tool? You can’t do the job with only one tool though, you have to pick the right tool for each application. There’s no generic “best” that can do all of it.
He might have a favorite tool though, one that has sentimental value maybe, or that he always uses along with the others, an old and familiar friend that has never let him down.

There’s no such thing as an unbreakable circle, so you don’t have to beat yourself up about that.
Be clear whether you are talking about humans or astral beings, they are not the same and don’t behave the same way, or have the same tools and abilities.
Humans have free will, and that includes the ability to go “oh, show me what’s behind this barrier” and poof, you’re behind the barrier. Your circle is meant to keep out astral wildlife, parasites, casual opportunists and other randoms, they will never hold off a determined human.
You best bet for that is to go stealth - they can’t try to cross a line that they do not know exists, cannot find, or are distracted from accessing.
Witch wars are a battle of wits more than anything, though persistence helps.
Dopamine training to enjoydoing the hard things.
Pick a workout routine and get ripped. Make a new healthy protocol and make it a habit - the same ability that lets you do that is your will. And a strong body makes a strong mind, as you are a gestalt being and these are connected… Twofer!
An easy way to strengthen your will is to simply decide to do something and then DO IT. It doesn’t matter what that thing is, what matters is following through on it. If you choose chicken for dinner, have chicken, even if someone offers you pizza. If you choose to do a money spell on Thursday, do the money spell on Thursday, not Friday. Most humans are indecisive and are easily swayed by the opinions of others. Keeping your word teaches your subconscious that you mean what you say, regardless of any resistance or opposition.
Frankly, the knowing that I am the operant power. I carry a nine foot circle around myself that was put up by my greater self when I was young to protect me from some very bad stuff that would have drowned me. It has a geas on it that prevents any spirit called within it from acting against me in any way. King Paimon once told me he disliked it. Because of this circle/shield, I have no need to cast an external circle, though sometimes I will if I’m following a particular system that calls for one. On a couple of occasions, I have had both a demon king and an archangel test my circle as a way of testing my will.
If you recall [redacted], she claimed she would test circles of magicians, and I often thought she was full of it … until she talked about two places I lived and the rituals taking place.
One was daily ritual, and I do mean daily, an attempt of making hoodoo oils and doing candle magick in addition to the Modern Magick and Christopher book material.
The other was an attempt at a death curse, but it was apparent to me neither of us wanted the person dead, just put in their place.
This was the rationale behind my post. Once I get higher into Modern Magick and start evocation, I’d rather not get slaughtered by a spirit, especially those hostile to solomonic type practices.
The LBRP all me can’t protect me, I’ve known that, because I lnow my will isn’t terribly strong.

This is a misunderstanding. She could read a person’s circle. It’s basically a peek into someone’s spiritual life, similar to a tarot reading, where she would then interpret what she saw. She never forced herself into someone’s circle, and she could be kept out or ejected.
I initially thought so too but it’s a bit different from astral travel. From the way she’s described it to me, she’s often just pulled into visions and doesn’t really have any control over what she is shown or where she goes. Your circle is not necessarily what you are doing at that moment, but is often a representation of your spirit. For example, when I was heavy into the angelic mantras, she once saw two large angels, one gold and one silver, standing on either side of me as i sat meditating, even though physically I was having dinner at the time. She can often glean what kind of magick you are working on from your circle, and yes, she sometimes gets glimpses from the past or future, especially as it relates to your spirit.
So I’m thinking per both replies, I start by making it my will, to do my daily set of rituals starting with effective visualization of the circle, and proper, working Banishing.
