In vampirism I have read something about that the magician allow himself to be drained by the vampires that in return give him their energy in exchange. Is that truth? How does it work?

That is basically nothing but the occult version of the pop culture myth about a vampire feeding their own blood to someone in order to “turn” them.

No I have just read about it in the sense that it was mentioned in a book about Vampire Magick. Blackwood’s book is too expensive…

No I have not read his book. I have just read about communication with Undead from other books of vampire magick but just about them without ritual. I want to know how it works.

No it was not a grimoire. I could not find any information what it did.
Given the context is vampirism not tantra or energy healing, I would say the above response form DarkestKnight is the most likely.
It’s common for modern “vampires” to think this a differently type of spirit, being or that you can be “turned”, which is pretty much nonsense. You’re human, and you will stay human until you release the human vessels that make you human, it’s not rocket science.

Most of the vampiric practicer are link to a strain/chain and need to feed the strain at different level of reality to gain and maintain powers and to be able to function as a sort of demonic entity ( this is a shift of subtle body). However the most secretive vampiric order like ODNN use some Dzogchen technique for example practicing the non dualistic presence etc and alchemy ( use of elixir etc) to create an"exotic" jalu body called the glorious body of the dark sun. Most of practicer are not able to do ascetic training like that as this is more difficult than doing rituals.
This is more an alchemical process than a pure magical one as often found into books. You need to go beyond Assiah. Magic ritual are useful but not the main part. Some practice have bardonian basis as the practicer need to be perfectly able to transfer consciousness into item and animals. Those who have been part of such order know that true vampire must " ride the reptilian brain" to attain the inner primal powers and be able to exist into the abyssal side of reality. That’s why this order is link to Nyarlathotep as most of the Lovecraftian being are artificial shapes ( created by the mind of the writer) of the most primal being ( those who are beyond the fictional shapes) those who are from the pure objective extraterrestrial reality.
