Working with Goetic Spirits: Strong Initial Results, But No Final Manifestation

Hello everyone,

I have read several posts here and got the impression that many of you have significant experience working with Goetic spirits. I would like to ask for your opinion about something I have been experiencing.

My interest in this path began during a Tarot course. While meditating on the Death card, I started having unusual dreams and experiences.

A few months ago, I dreamed of Belial. He asked for my obedience and respect, but I refused.

In another dream, I saw myself drawing Prince Orobas’s sigil with white sand.

Later, I dreamed that I was repeatedly speaking the name of King Paimon.

In another dream, I heard a voice saying, “Wake up Gaap.”

After these experiences, I began studying Goetia in depth. For about three months, I practiced the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram (LBRP), the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Hexagram (LBRH), and the Middle Pillar every day.

Working with Prince Orobas

I decided to begin with Prince Orobas. Based on my research, I concluded that using a triangle was appropriate, and I prepared everything accordingly.

During the ritual, I recited the enn for some time while focusing on the sigil. Then I stated my requests and offered a suitable offering.

The next day, events began unfolding exactly as I had hoped. Positive developments occurred in my work and in several ongoing problems. It felt as though locked doors were opening one after another.

However, the effect was like opening a bottle of champagne: strong and immediate, but short-lived. There was a rapid push forward, yet my requests never fully manifested.

I repeated this working three times, each on a Thursday, and the pattern was the same every time.

Working with Prince Seere

I then worked with Prince Seere to accelerate matters, since some of my issues were time-sensitive.

Again, the results were impressive at first. I saw clear movement the very next day, but afterward the pattern repeated: a quick burst of progress with no final resolution.

Working with Prince Vassago

Feeling that I might be missing something, I performed a working with Prince Vassago to enhance clairvoyance, perception, and intuition.

Working with King Paimon

After some time, I decided to work with King Paimon.

During this ritual, I saw a silhouette for the first time. It appeared behind me on my left side. Interestingly, the candle placed in that direction melted far more than the others. While the other candles were not even halfway burned, that one was almost completely consumed.

Despite this, I did not observe any significant developments afterward.

Working with Bune

Most recently, I worked with Bune.

This time, I attempted a more Solomonic-style evocation. In my previous workings, I had relied primarily on enn chanting and meditation.

My Question

Divinations consistently indicate that the rituals themselves are successful, yet the lack of final manifestation makes me wonder whether I am doing something wrong.

I have been careful to:

  • Observe the traditional planetary days associated with each spirit.
  • Offer appropriate offerings.
  • Leave at least three days between workings.
  • Maintain regular banishing and energy work.

Has anyone experienced this pattern of strong initial movement without final results?

What would you recommend I change or focus on?

it maybe sound weird but did you do your weekly or monthly offering to these spirits to replenish the energy they need to do the work because what you say sound time they had at first energy enough to do a part of deal then stop because they where out of energy or sometime you need to give them time to do somethings like maybe you think you are ready but they dont

Have you done any divinations to look for road blocks in the oath to manifestation? It sounds like you’re doing everything right, and something is in the way.

There’s a voodoo powder called a “Road Opener” that can help clear the way for when things feel like they’re held up but you don’t know why. You can usually get re-made, pre-enchanted stuff on etsy or ebay.

@JOK3R It could be not giving enough of a time frame for the magick to travel, or possibly as @Mulberry mentioned blockages in the path. Sometimes you have to clear the way so new things can enter. There is also the possibility that you haven’t made any mundane moves to aid the spirit in it process also.

To be honest, after every change or development that I considered a success, I thanked them and lit sandalwood incense and a candle separately in their honor.

Thank you for this information. However, in the country where I live, shopping from sites like these is extremely difficult, almost impossible. For that reason, I am planning to use rune work to remove blockages and clear the roads.

That said, while writing this message, I remembered something that happened months ago. Before I had made any preparations and before I had any knowledge of Goetia—in fact, before I even knew his name—Belial appeared to me in a dream and asked for my obedience and respect. I refused him because, at that time, I had no idea what I was dealing with.

After that experience, I became interested in the Ars Goetia and began researching it extensively.

Do you think that my rejection of Belial could be related to what I am experiencing now?

I carefully consider and synthesize every thought and opportunity related to the matters in which I need support. In particular, I have also incorporated supportive ideas that did not originate from me in order to assist the process.

However, if you are saying that this is a long-term process, then I will continue with what I am already doing and persist until I achieve my goal.

Not really. Belial isn’t bitchy like that.

You can also make your own road opener if you use your google-foo to look up how.

After reviewing your valuable explanations, I did some further research.

I received a suggestion that can be classified as a type of Hoodoo practice. In this method, you draw the sigil of the Goetic spirit you wish to work with, add your name and date of birth on the back, and write your requests. Recently, I was advised to place this paper into a glass of consecrated water, keep it around my bed for three days, and recite the spirit’s hymn during the day and before sleep. On the third day, the ritual is completed by bathing with this water.

I was told that this is an old technique that works with many Goetic spirits. I have been applying this exact method, and today marks the end of the third day.

Ok. See what happens if you do the chanting for 20 minutes for example. Does the way the rituals manifest change? Is it more explosive? Does the duration of the effect last longer?

That’s definitely a blockage as maul said, adding on your method of putting sigils on a cup you could use abramelin magical squares as well. They’re quite good to add more power when needed.

The square to remove blockages and road opener could be more of help.
