Why hasn't my clairaudience developed?

Can someone consult as to why my Clairaudience hasn’t developed?

Imop Clair audience is some of the harder shit to get right, because we usually don’t believe we actually heard anything or we assume it was the neighbors playing the radio too loud, or that someone must have slammed a door etc.

Often you’ll be the only one hears it even if you aren’t alone because most people don’t believe, don’t want to and have to a lesser or greater extent been taught that pretty much everything has a mundane explanation.

I have heard music- songs that didn’t exist and didn’t have words, I’ve heard whispers of my name and even faint, can you hear me’s.

Occasionally my husband and I will both see or hear something, but usually it originates from one of his ancestors, a long dead friends pet etc, so it’s actually not visiting for me, but because I am the one in the house that is interested and working on it, I notice it or they have approached me already so I expected it at some point.

Clair audience for me seems to kick into overdrive if there is white noise in the background- instead of having to completely manufacture the sound, spirits can often use it as the base, like what Ea does with manifestation bases and smoke to see a spirit- you can use white noise like a fan or static sound as a spirit sound base.

Otherwise a common sound people hear is knocking but if something knocks, I personally make it identify itself or leave as if it needs to knock it’s not welcome for some reason and hasn’t been allowed into my space for that reason.

It’s not always bad or because it has mal intent sometimes it’s simply because there is no obvious reason why that entity would be interested in me and it wasn’t recognized, but I don’t take kindly to poltergeist like activity or showing up announced so if they can’t give me a name, I can’t answer the door.:woman_shrugging:

In my personal experience telepathy is the only harder sense to discern that it is indeed happening. Both clairaudience and telepathy can make you feel crazy or like your talking in your head to something or wondering if you are imagining it, so I personally think development of it can be rough- particularly if you come from background where paranormal spooks y’a or you need to hide what’s going on so other people don’t default to you are a crazy loon.

Even when people believe you, they think it’s weird, they don’t understand how you can hear something they can’t etc…

If I didn’t have a cat, I’d get one! There’s been a few times I have responded to a spirit outloud without thinking about it and just felt silly as hell because someone was in the next room…

What’d you say?

Me: Nuffin, I was talking to the cat!

Or I’ve had a spirits pop up in serious moments and insert a hilarious conjecture… but let me tell you don’t usually want to burst out laughing at funeral or some similar, so it can be… challenging to maintain composure of yourself to those who don’t understand.

As far as why it’s not developing, you are probably not listening in the right ways, usually if I’m thinking too much I can’t hear as well unless it’s a loud interjection, like my name real loud in my ear or some similar to break me out of the thought train.

You could also just not be recognizing it as spirit sounds too.

Quieting your mind to the point of no mind has helped me the most with clairaudience. Trying to fully possess my body and maintain a larger awareness of all my senses at the same time has helped me with learning to stop thinking and the no mind concept.

Reviewing my initial statement I can see how this may seem that I am looking for advice. I am not. Now is the time that I am to say with better verbiage what I meant: “Can someone perform a divination/consultation with a spirit as to the matter of why my clairaudience is not developed to my liking?”

Thanks.

it’s an interesting area.

most aware individuals (or potential) hear a constant low level buzz or pitched tonality.
but they learn to direct their minds away from it slowly slowly through life.

in hyper aware states (or thoroughly sleep deprived ones) that buzz is replaced by an amalgam of voices, music, conversations and other sounds. it was quite disruptive for me for a while especially when trying to sleep. at first wondering where the hell these sounds were coming from and then later i found when my mind would focus on one of the specific conversations/sounds, it would get pulled to it quite aggressively.

@bzed Funny you say this. I often hear a low frequency buzz when I try to sleep. It’s like a distant mumbling from alot of people talking. As I use earplugs, I often remove them to check out whats making all the noise. And when I do, everything is quiet. I’m a person that practice spirituality often times on a daily basis, still I disregard this as my brain playing tricks on me :man_shrugging:t2:

yeah it’s different with different people and even different with the same person over time.

usually that buzz is present during the day as well but the mind is too diverted by distractions and worldly engagements to notice.
personal spiritual practice i’ve found very helpful and also engage in daily. always need to balance power with harmony and vice versa
