not to change the subject too much
but another recommendation i’d like to make if you can find a way to track him down, is edunpanna from the order of the necronomicon and the papers in the attic blog.

Alright, I’ve officially contacted her in every way other than by phone (which would be much more intrusive than is appropriate)!
Don’t know if he’s been mentioned or not, but I’d love to see an interview with Lon Milo DuQuette. I really enjoy his writing, and he’s got a wicked sense of humor.
Rufus Opus would be another, his Modern Goetic Grimoire is probably my favorite version of the Goetia by far, and he’s got a really interesting viewpoint on demons, especially since he considers himself a Christian sorcerer. I’d love to see a conversation between E.A. and himself.
I would still like to see E.A. interview Somnus Dreadwood.
she got your message. it took a little going and i`m sure it was frustrating getting through, but finally it happened.
now pull out all the stops and make this one an interview for the ages
another suggestion (although she is kind of hard to get a hold of sometimes):
athena from enochian.org. she REALLY knows her stuff. top notch dark enochian and she`s as no-nonsense as they come.
i also want to put in another recommendation for andrieh vitimus, frater r.o, jason miller, kenaz filan, frater marabas at the sorcerors-apprentice.co.uk, cat yronwode and her husband nagasiva, jake stratton-kent for his grimoirium verum work, aaron leitch, david beth for his work in brazilian and african atr, dr.christos kioni, the ciceros, and conjureman ali. each and every one of these adepts throws down like crazy and they all have so much knowledge it`s unbelievable. they are also good ppl.
I would love to see E. A. interview Andrieh and Jason. I would love to hear them talk about Voodoo/Vodou.
I am speaking with Andrieh now. He is very interested in coming on Interviews With A Magus, and he’s likely going to have me on his show as well!
This is like an early Christmas present for me!
Dear E. A. Koetting,
I think the actual problem( no a problem to us of course) is that they fear your involvement with demons and black magic. Black Magic can seem a hideous and terrible thing for white mages even idealistic LHP magicians. you face your taboos, because yourself have become and practice taboo.
It is a waste of time for example to invite to Martin Faulk or William Mistelle for example, or to request an interview to AMORC. They are not going to agree!
Perhaps Don Webb or Michael Kelly would agree to be interviewed!

I gotta agree with Obe on this one. The nature of your practice is so far beyond the scope of what is acceptable, that many people will not want to do it for that reason alone. For example, I know you were trying to get in contact with Konstantinos, and even though he uses maybe 4 or 5 Goetic spirits, his book is largely aimed at avoiding demons at all costs. He doesn’t even address the Goetics as demons, but Goetic spirits, in which he continues to dress up the association as if they aren’t traditionally classified as demons. It’s no knock on Konstantinos, that’s just pointing out that “black” magick is something he tried to avoid, at least in Summoning Spirits. You talk about using magic to potentially kill people, so there could be a conflict that doesn’t bode well for an interview.
Michael Kelly would be a good one, he left TOS and went in a decent direction, as did Stephen Flowers (whos books I refer to often). I would suggest a pass on Don Webb though, I have yet to see him write anything profound.
I’d like to see E.A. put back in the hot seat, have some of the proposed guests ask him questions based on their understanding of his system of magic and BALG as a whole.
I’d also like to see an occsional panel discussion with a few guests. There could be a poll to decide the topic and then E.A. and a couple guests could discuss the topic as well as describe some of their favorite rituals for the topic.
I think EA has been in the hot hot seat enough. He does multiple interviews, a shit ton of books and his programs. You have a pretty good idea on his views. I’d like a follow up from 'ol DK the Mage to see how one of our own has progressed. Or better yet Poete Maudit, the voice of reason within this forum’s past confusion (which seems to have been fixed, thank you Timothy if you did that). I’d really like to hear from Poete.
I understand what your saying Andreeje and to an extent agree with you. E.A. has done a ton of interviews but those interviews were not for occultists, they were more for listeners of a radio show who haven’t a fucking clue what was being talked about so everything was broke down to its simplest explanation possible. I don’t want to hear questions like “What’s a demon?” or “What’s an evocation ritual look like and what goes on?”. Those are not questions a well versed magician would be asking another magician. Those interviews were more for E.A. to publicize his books and programs and spread his name. Personally I love hearing E.A. being interviewed and getting his thoughts on various subjects but the conversation can only go so deep when one participant is a diver and the other has on a Donald Duck life preserver.
It’s he same as having a professional athlete sit down and do a hard hitting interview with someone who knows the ins and outs of the sport vs him going on the local radio station to talk about the next series of games that are scheduled. The caliber of questions is nowhere near equal.
I do agree I’d love to see what DK or Poette are up to and what strides they’ve made using the materials available to them.
… But that Donald Duck Life preserver though. You tryna tell me that’s not a hot look???
I prefer a turtle or shark life preserver personally. Keeps me looking stealthy and it enables me to blend in to my surroundings like a water ninja. Psfft Donald Duck seriously?..I’m not a child.
Hey, I’m just saying, that blue sailor fit that Donald rocks is stylin’… I evoked just to get 8 identical limited editions to wear on Jewish high holidays. I mean, I don’t even celebrate them, but it scares the hell out of the Hasids when you walk up to them saying “L’Shanah Tovah” during Rosh Hashanah while rocking one of these.
